I've updated and used the new conf u posted, but its seems stalled now,
is there something i can add to conf block the older clients from connecting?

Restart the wallet first, I had the same problem and it seemed to be cosmetic as the wallet estimated more blocks than there actually were

did that but the same will keep happening i beleive unless there some easy way to block the old clients from trying to connect.  i thought there was command that could be added that will blacklist peers with older clients but cant remember what it is

as soon as we get more 8.8 peers it will fix

note to others: if you start QT from the command line and use -reindex any missing coins should return.

If some of you with tech knowledge would hang out on the chat page IRC: http://webchat.freenode.net/ #premine, that would help a lot. A lot of us are uneasy about changes which could lose everything. Help is appreciated.

Thanks

By your path do you mean the path where the wallet is now or where I download the new one?

forked client installed and mining

What is up with the warning message, is that client related, or did you sent that message out to the entire network using the alert key ?

I only see %appdata%\Premine\blocks
%appdata%\Premine\chainstate

not database, I see .lock db (text) debug peers.dat premine conf and wallet.dat
