Hey! I'm interested in this concept but seeing as how all Preminecoins have been distributed and it isn't a usable currency, I don't see how one can acquire PMC from one of these early giveaway receivers.
Once exchanges come, it will be possible to buy PMC cheap, but the coin isn't really at that point yet.
How can I, an impoverished PMC newbie with 11 coin to my name, catch up to you guys? I think more bounties should be posted to get infrastructure going because I can do a lot, but I don't see the opportunity to get into this community right now.

Now is the time to buy cheap. Exchanges: https://poloniex.com/market?currencyPair=BTC_PMC -ONLINE I'll buy some PMC tomorrow. In the meanwhile, if you want to donate me a few coins: 16Ypxvzk8sd2CkVRezBLXPd3HuNf4YqYbG

Just signed up for the reddit I think that growth of this coin may become dependent on the faucet initially..

I just used the faucet and set my payout address to the faucet donation address. Premine Inception.

Hey guys, I know I'm a PMC newb but I was wondering if you guys wanted a newbie friendly solution to the premin.config thing: I uploaded this 5 minutes ago: http://limelinx.com/hkfa Its a bat file which reads copy premine.conf C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Premine\premine.conf
pause
And it is just a folder with the bat file and the premine.conf file from the OP. If someone wants to test it or something, it should make it so after you install your wallet you can just click the bat file and you'll be fully connected. ^^Just a possible solution for all those foreigners who can't figure out anything techie. I do some work for Quark and there are a ton of foreigners who don't get any of this stuff.

It's given me an idea actually; how about a little c++ app that creates the conf files and spits out the bat files for bfgminer and cgminer for solo mining? I really need to get back into C++. Been neglecting it lately.

I can write this bat really quickly for a little PMC It actually requires the files to be generated, rather than just moved. It would need to create bat files based on user prompts. I have limited experience with batch files, but there are a lot of little things that would need to be done. We can chat about it in more detail if you're able to create new output files based on user input. If not I can look at doing it in C++. To be honest, the people it would be aimed at would probably already know what they're doing anyway, as eruptor mining can be a bit technical anyway.

Might be best just to have a bounty for a youtube video that helps users do this. Linking to a video makes the community look like its dedicated to helping. Also, shopped up a little image for the females trying to get in on the coin:

Interesting logo. I quite like the current logo personally, although as has been said it doesn't scale very well. However, it does look pretty slick, so I think that's the sort of logo we're aiming for. I also like the more "digital" feel of it. I think blue works well for Premine, too. Sent a little PMC your way. We appreciate having new members in our community.

I'm going to give away some coins (like 10-25% of mine) to whoever helps me with a little intro to premine video i make - i might want a voiceover.

I may be off regarding this but I would think we should wait until we have the auto-fee wallet before we make a big push to a bit exchange listing. No use making people update wallets too often.
