When will the new wallet be released so that we can finally push this to a larger exchange??
If this coin doesn't get a new breath of life soon, its gonna be DOA

Did I miss the wallet release or are we still waiting =)

We are waiting...

Please allow me to clarify a few things: There is some mis-information about PMC out there that needs to be addressed. Firstly is this: PMC is NOT a scrypt coin, PMC is SHA-256! As PMC starts showing up on crypto related sites it is listed as scrypt on most of them. This is not the case, so if you are trying o mine PMC with a scrypt miner, you are doing it wrong. The second issue is TX fees. There is some incorrect information out there claiming that TX fees are free on the PMC network. This is not true. TX fees are only free on transactions that are inside empty or small sized blocks. The network enforces a fee based on the size of the block. There will not be a wallet release addressing transaction fees until the coin has greater transaction volume and we are able to get a more complete picture of the average TX fee on the network when it is operating at higher capacity. Fees are being manually injected into almost every block, and the team has ample funds to continue to do this indefinitely. If you are concerned that the fees for miners are not enough, feel free to add a fee. But be aware that even though you may set your wallet to 0.00 fees, that doesn't necessarily mean every transaction will be free. Third and finally. While we would not be upset to see PMC on a larger exchange, this isn't exactly a priority of the DEV team. We would much rather see other types of services like lottos, wheels, and dice. In short, we would like to see services that generate more transactions per block and create miners fees more than we would like to see a big exchange pick up the coin. Don't take it the wrong way, we understand that this is a speculative market and that many of our users view this as an investment. We would like to see PMC be profitable for you all, but the team is more committed to doing what is best for the coin overall.
An exchange like  coinmarket.io would get the attention needed to get more services set up. I've launched my store and willl accept premine!  I hope others follow=)
whats the legality of a dice game in the US? maybe ill set one up =)

I agree with you!
What use various gambling websites if no one knows PMC. maybe it would be a good idea, if the developer could list the technical particularities of PMC in a white paper. PMC is a very interesting project and I think you should inform the public more about it.

Can we start compiling a list of ALL the sites that list PMC as Scrypt instead of SHA-256? I will email each damn one if I have to.

I will compile it. I have no idea why that happened. It makes me wonder how many people out there are running scrypt miners and wonder why they never find a block.

I downloaded the wallet, I dodn't know how to mine but want to on my crappy laptop. It isn't even sycnced and and I dont have an address??

1. Start the Wallet and close it again

2. make a new textfile paste this:

listen=1
server=1
rpcuser=yourname
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcport=9335
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=65.167.153.125
addnode=65.167.153.115
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1

into it and save it as premine.conf in c:/users/**yourcomputername**/AppData/Roaming/Premine

3. start cgminer:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost:9335 -u yourname -p yourpassword
That's why long time ago i have mentioned that there needs to be a tutorial on first page of how to solomine this coin.

Ok. I'll be happy to contact them all. Once we start getting a list together.

Misinformation is more damaging than no information.

It is the weekend soon, and I'm itching to have some fun with my block rewarder. How about some big prize rewards for finding certain blocks? Or if we hit a certain difficulty?

Share some of your ideas. If you can pull the info from the debug window in the wallet, I can use it in my script. Got a lot of PMC to give away.  Smiley

I've been thinking about designing a PMC lottery. Send 1 PMC and get auto entry into prize draw. All ticket funds go into the prizes. Could make a daily lotto script. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Is the posting of cat gifs already seen as spam?

If anyone has ideas how to reach out to more people to use and get some premine, tell me. If you actually do it in an efficient way I am even willing to pay a bounty.

All good ideas, we should definitely do some kind of promotion for this weekend.
