We should by the way open up a pool for premine, even though the rewards are little to nothing it would encourage people to pay more for transaction fees so it would be distributed to more people and not only the blockfinders. This would be a good thing for the value of the coin.

A responsible pool could also impose transaction fees on payouts. There's, however, a big risk of it hitting 51%, so it would be great to leave it to someone trusted.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Another pump now ? Price go up and up 0.00042 BTC

BTW we need to start our lottery. The points are:

1) give a ticket for everyone that use the faucet (in this way we encourage the use of faucet and more tx fees and no matter if the people only earn from this lottery)

2) daily(Huh) and weekly prizes. In this way we need to keep either the transaction id generated from the faucet every day and every week.

3) I think that this lottery would start for a limited amount of time, 1 week or 2 week to see how the things go

it's still really undervalued though, should be 1= 0.1 and i'm not joking

It would make lots of people filthy rich. I think .002-.003 is a realistic target once it hits a bigger exchange, though. Poloniex is, with all due respect... meh.

looks at ron paul coin, 2.1M cap, this is 1/4 of the cap, and ron paul value is at 0.01 and it's dumped to death right now

Yeah, but only 20K RPC have been mined so far. There are currently 25x more Premines in circulation.

0.1BTC would put us at 50k BTC market cap right now. Not too possible. Even a 5k BTC cap would be tough to achieve.

I'm agree, I made some calculations few pages ago and 5000 BTC is an ideal market cap. I think that a value of  $3-4 is already great.

Of course this is all related on the actual prize of BTC...if grows up then we are on the right boat Smiley

If that happens I can retire Smiley

how did u get your hands on so many coins? I thought they were gonna be divided equally. I was on this thread since the start and only received 20... :/

Post your PMC address please.

Not equally. The very first got the biggest shares, and some stayed and distributed theirs (like me and Shanent, and a few others), and others just disappeared. I keep telling people that the price right now is meaningless because A) we're still quite a young coin for a long-term coin, B) we're only on a small exchange, and C) there are still some hoarders out there with big shares waiting for their moment.

The only comparison I can draw is with the early investors of NXT. If one of those dumped right now, it would crash the market. It's happened before, I think. This is going to happen to PMC at one point. There's little point hiding from it. However if you know why it's happening, then you know that it's an artificial price adjustment, and the market will correct itself once on of those hoarders dump. In fact it's a good thing. To increase distribution further there needs to be less hoarders, so although there will be market instability in the early days of Premine, this is something that happens with a lot of altcoins.

The difference with PMC is that there's no inflation of supply in the sense that new coins can be generated. The better the condition of Premine, the more coins you'll get by mining. The more you mine, the better condition PMC gets due to further distribution. It's a very good model. By mining, you're contributing to distribution and future block rewards. By trading, you're also contributing to block rewards. It all ties so neatly together.

Once we hit Cryptsy, there's going to be a dump. There'll also be a big buy up. This is exactly what we want to happen, what will happen, and will only cause the price to go up once the market has stabilised. The people left over in the long-term with the largest stake are going to be the ones least likely to dump their coins.

Currently we're on Poloniex, and the price is going up, but due to the small exchange volume that is not terribly difficult. Prices are going to fluctuate quite a bit, but hopefully in an upward trend.

Premine is just 2 1/2 weeks old. I know time goes quick with Altcoins, but I just think he means: if we've come this far, then imagine where we will be in another 2 weeks.

This doesn't sound like a shitty idea actually.

Count me in.

This is the first post I made here, on page 14, yet I never really received that many coins. I followed this thread the whole time, would be nice if the dev could send some my way, depending on how many he has distributed already.

Here is the address: 1BbR8t7UBUZX1Fx76LDW5RcEnDsoQfs9e8

appreciate it.

20 sent your way. You'll have to check that with the dev though. I'm sure he had a hard time keeping up with all the PMC addresses at the time.
