In other news: https://cryptorush.in has agreed to add PMC to their exchange. BUT they need 0.25BTC in order to do so. I am willing to put up part of the funds to get this rolling today. But the question is: would you all like to see the coin on this exchange, or should we hold out. Any feedback would be great. Also if you would like to contribute to the cause, I will be setting that up if we decide to go forward with it.

While I wouldn't mind if they listed us, it's a small exchange, and if we're going to pay to get listed on an exchange, I would much rather we pay for an exchange with much higher volume, or wait until the value of PMC has gone up so we can pay for it with PMC. Realistically I don't think it will have a big impact on current pricing. It's an exchange I've only recently become aware of, so I personally couldn't vouch for the benefits of getting listed.

It depends on how likely you think other exchanges will pick up PMC in the near future. It does seem to have slightly higher volume than poloniex going on some of the daily volumes on some popular coins, but cryptorush also list a lot of new coins, so we may get lost in the noise. Where it may benefit us is in the increased tx fees the trading would generate, so if you can afford to spare the BTC, then I think it's a fairly ok exchange to be listed on. Just not sure if PMC will be noticed on it as like I said I don't frequent the exchange often.
on the flip side, already being on two excahnges, and any volume increase could significantly increase our chances of another exchange picking us up.
I'll also say that this coin is getting old in terms of new currencies, and its getting to be late into the game not to have a decent exchange. People could soon loose interest if something doesn't happen soon.

Yep, people must be more willing to bribe than me, or more likely have better contacts.

I don't like the idea of bribing either, but its better than seeing the coin die.
It's hard for exchanges to see the value of this coin since hash rate and block size isn't really comparable to any other coin. Until you sit down and read up on this coin, and see the community in action, this coin appears all but dead.

It takes time to see the very real value in this coin, and I doubt many echanges take the time to go into the detail needed to see this value when looking at a coin.
My guess would be most echanges look at hash rate, look at volume at other exchanges and threads, look at block reward, and thats it. They don't look at the overall idea behind the coin.

I'll commit 0.01 BTC, 24 peeps to go.
i'll commit .01 as well =) whether its for this exchange or coinedup

I am prepared to commit 0.15 but I'd prefer to hold for a response from coinedup before making a move.

I can add 0.01. I think more exchanges = better, even though I hadn't heard about cryptorush up till now.

agreed.
that means at least 8 more people need to donate! Preferably more so that creditcoin_crd isn't shouldering so much of it

I'd ask Coinedup / Coinmarket first, and Cryptorush only if that fails. I have no BTC to send, though, so consider this a non-binding comment Wink

I see my (originally giveaway) thread in Spanish is listed as the official Spanish one. Thanks!

I've updated it with all the official info:

I can't give any BTC for the cause because I've only 0.03 in altcoin on cryptsy.

BTW I'm contributing with my help to the cause Smiley

great community thank you all  Smiley

Very great - We have met the mark.

I DID however inadvertently send my share with no fee, so now I'm stuck waiting for confirms.  Sad

I will pas it on as soon as I have confirmations. Hopefully this will generate some TX volume for PMC.

Thanks for support everybody.

Ok, rather than waiting for confirmations on a TX without a fee attached, I'm just going to send it along. Here is the address provided, and where I will be sending the BTC, just so we can all see everything is legit. 1HzgqwNSvxFvy8qFMeD6sRSNhQ6AdfEmrU
