Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies?

All investments carry risk but the amount of risk varies, cryptocurrencies as a whole carry large risk due to huge volatility. This is especially true for non top 100 cryptos as liquidity is usually low so any price movement will have a huge impact.

i think so, if you want to invest in the coin which not on the top 100 i suggest you to split your capital to another coin which on the top 100, at least it will not make you lost all your capital if one of them is fall.

No of course I have in my portfolio there are cool coins that are on the 300 and 250 place, the ideas they have cool but of course capitalization is not enough to get to the top , but I think it's a matter of time to find out what cryptocurrencies will remain in the top and who will leave, as some cryptocurrencies

Buying any coin asides Ethereum and bictoin is an estimated risk. To choose any other coin asides from the top 100, must have a healthy trade volume and must maintain its position on CMC with a consistent margin for long period, mayabe + or -10 gap.

There is a chance that you could go to a wrong altcoin. There are altcoins are just new that has a high potential of growing up to top 100 and there are those that has its road to downfall. You must choose wisely on choosing a coin that are rank 100 below, it is either you could win greatly or lose greatly.

I think it is not risky if you learn about a project, team, idea etc. There are many undervalued projects on the market right now, you just need to find them, and top 100 or not mean nothing. There are many projects in TOP 10 now, and one or two years ago they did not even exist.

Compared to after 100 to you will find the top 100 coins far stable if not so top 30.
They are less volatile and have little bit less less comparatively

Well, it depends in what coins you are investing it. There are coins that even if they are not in top 100 but they have a good product then it won't be a riskier investment.

No in 100 crypto currencies have risk and after 100 coins have good coins so its depended by your know about coin which one you select for investment so if you select good coins then you will get good profits

Not necessarily, the fact that the coins that are of interest to you aren't listed yet on the top 100 cryptocurrencies doesn't mean that they aren't good, they are probably to recent which also doesn't mean they are bad, on the contrary, I'd prefer to invest on coins that are more accesible, aiming for long term investments.

It is risky to get the 100 best cryptanalysts. Investors want to reduce risk, I think should invest in bitcoin, ethereum. That is a safe solution that I can think of at this point.

You can take the example of the initial coin offerings, all of the initial coin offerings introduced are never in the top 100 cryptocurrencies but according to the ICO they provide a high chance for multiplication in the investment  value
