The chance is higher yes. But it does not mean, you should not buy them at all. They have their place in a well established portfolio.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It might be risky, but not entirely. I mean, while some persons might think it is not safe to invest in a coin that is not among the top 100 listed coins, I think otherwise because there are still some coins that are not among the top listed coins, but have good potential and are a really good project. You just have to be more careful with your selection.

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

In my opinion this is risky enough. Now there are a lot of useless coins and there are no guarantees that it will be in demand in the future.

Buy all the top 100 coins in the coinmarketcap is not a wise idea. How about focus in the top 20, and divide your trading investment into equal parts. Thats the proper way of trading. Dont forget to spare or to add some USDT and BTC to average down just incase the position you ride on doesnt work.

The smaller the coin is, the more volatile it is, and the risk factor is higher. But I think it worth to have these small coins as about 10-20% in the total portfolio.

Yes no, the TOP 100 usually will not give you X5-X10 profit, and other coins that are really promising can give more,so it's generally better to distribute the risks, invest part of there and part of the wood, this is the best solution

Sometimes you will see flash dump of some no name coins, if you're lucky then you'll be rich very fast. But rich is not for everyone, so do it as your own risk...

I believe it's dangerous. Yet, isn't the market when all is said in done about hazard, Life itself is unsafe. On the off chance that you see a decent coin and you think the undertaking is great, don't prevent your self from putting resources into it in light of the fact that the coin isn't recorded in the main 100 coins.

No if you are able to see good projects. Investing is a high risk way of raising our money so we should be careful in investing especially in ICO,

I suggest you better invest in top 100 cryptocurrency, because the risk is smaller and easier to get profit.

You should do your own research when investing in crypto and only invest based on that, there are many factors that determine if its a good choice to invest in a company or not.

and check out Poseidon Foundation token sale, very good project that received a lot of press coverage internationally after they have announced their partnership with Liverpool City committed to become first "climate positive" city in world by 2020

Of course, the market is still at a low level, and many small cryptocurrencies are facing death. The risk of investing in small cryptocurrencies is very large. You may lose all your money, so I think the top ten credits of the investment market value. Money will be a better choice.

I would say that investors that put up dough into cryptos assume risk is high momentarely and then shifts towards limited weeks later.

I'm sure that all Cryptocurrency is risky, it's like a business.  Coins from the top 100 are a stable coin, but a small profit in the future

it is more risky, but some hype ICO can bring you much more profit just immediately after listing. Also some projects out of top 100 can simply have low initial capitalisation, that's why they aren't in top 100

I don't think is bad because some of the coin that made 100 top coin list now will still drop off the list and some of the coin off the list now will rise to the list. Everyone should understand the risk in investment.

Yes, there are risks. Although we buy the most popular coins though, there is no certainty that we will profit. Everything is still a mystery that we don't know what the answer is. So, buying coins, especially those that are not very well known or still new, has a higher risk.

every investment are risky, even if you choose to invest on top altcoins, it is still risky, because there is no one who knows when their prices will go up or down. but dont invest without investigating the certain coin, that's what makes the risk higher.

Invest in top 100 is good decision.since high market cap and volume it will be defficult to manipulate. But there are lots of coins with low marketcap which can give you higher profit

Well personally I don't think it matters what position the project is on the coin market cap. If it's solid enough and still has enough room to grow I will invest in it.
