Is there a fixed date for proof of stake?
Not fixed yet. Used to be planned in March, it could be later in the year now.

I think POS will only hurt Ether, although speaking of safety, which, including will be on hand for the pos, why not, but I think you can look the other way, with the ability to bypass the POS, be sure to use it ( it's like dripping water from a faucet, which is annoying and if you tap close, the water is not flowing ) - if necessary, for example, imagining a situation would be to include mining and mine some coins

so witch ETH we can trust ? ETH or ETC classic..if somebody have an idea
thanks
There's only one Eth. It's the token belonging to Ethereum. ETC belongs to ethereum classic. You shouldn't "trust" anything. The market is quite plain: all the major developments are happening on Ethereum, not ethereum classic. The network is larger, stronger, more secure. The market cap is higher. It has a much larger following, and now the EEA exists, which will only be a boon to Ethereum.

Uh..huh? Not sure what you're trying to say here. @tolikkk I see people saying "PoS will only hurt Ether" few times already, and they are coming from competitors side with their own motive and agenda. Some naive people just repeating those statement without knowing the fact that, it is not true at all. If a crypto depend on PoW, it will not be as secure as PoS in a long term. Bitc*in has show us default pressure problem that unable them to do any changes on their protocol side. Thus prevent them to keep up with new edge cutting technologies and mass adoption. It also good to note that there are different version of PoS out there, and eth is building their very own PoS, "Casper PoS", which will brings out the best security and incentive model for the platform to scale.

Ethereum receives welcome support from the mainstream press as Bloomberg calls it “the hottest new platform in the world of cryptocurrencies and Blockchains.” The comments come as part of a piece setting out the next move for “Bitcoin’s top rival,” which include removing mining to allow the network to scale and meet possible demand from global corporations. “If Ethereum is going to take advantage of the potential that companies like JPMorgan, Microsoft and IBM see in its underlying transaction technology, the Blockchain, as the potential backbone that could reshape modern business and finance, it needs to gain wide adoption to become something of a de facto standard,” Bloomberg writes. Removing mining comes in tandem with its replacement, a proof-of-stake solution known as Casper, which has been in development since 2014. With Casper, Ethereum “will be more usable, more secure and more scalable too,” the publication quotes developer Vlad Zamfir. While Bitcoin has made the headlines in a more positive light than usual recently, due mostly to its price sitting at sustained highs, Ethereum has until now mostly failed to chart in terms of mainstream attention. At the same time, its smart contracts have garnered praise from banks and major corporations across the world, with a host of dedicated startups springing up helping them make the best use of Ethereum technology.

DAO.Casino The Future of Gambling 😮 https://blog.cyber.fund/dao-casino-the-future-of-gambling-d1fd883116d6#.c7jgmmbif- There are a lot of limitations and challenges with current gambling and gaming solutions available online. Unfair practices, insufficient rewards, and outdated policies are among the many issues currently faced by gamers and developers. DAO.Casino aims to rectify such standards by introducing a socio-technical protocol to the gaming industry.
- For the game developers, DAO.Casino means a dedicated and transparent P2P bazaar where they can monetise their work, raise funds and bankroll without needing to rely on centralised models.
- There is no such thing as a trusted third party. And to build a self-governing global casino, a lot of questions have been asked as to what else would run this casino if not a human. The answer lies in mathematics.

Morning Agenda: Ethereum, Uber and Money Management Fees 😉 https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/28/business/dealbook/blockchain-uber-hedge-funds.html?_r=0- Big corporations have been looking for ways to use blockchain technology to keep track of information generated by multiple companies. Now, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase and other corporate giants are joining forces to create a computing system based on another virtual currency network, Ethereum
- They are set to announce the formation of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, which will create a standard version of Ethereum software that businesses can use to track data and contracts.
JP Morgan Positions to “Not Be Completely Disrupted” at the Launch of Enterprise Ethereum 😉 https://www.rssflare.com/824248/jp-morgan-positions-to-not-be-completely-disrupted-at-the-launch-of-enterprise-ethereum- We made a decision early on to be inclusive, says Joe Lubin, founder of Consensys. There were some who early on were not too happy working with banks, but Vitalik has made it clear that we are inclusive, Lubin continued.
- There’s a need for each other – says Matt Spoke, who previously led the blockchain efforts at Deloitte, but left to fund a new start-up. There is an overlap between start-ups and corporations, individuals leave corporations for start-ups and vice versa – a lot of appreciation for each other – Spoke continued.
- This co-operation transcends further. Marley Gray from Microsoft announced that Quorum, an enterprise-focused version of ethereum by JP Morgan, is now available on Microsoft Azure.
Vitalik Buterin Calls for Collaboration at Enterprise Ethereum Launch 😉 http://www.coindesk.com/vitalik-buterin-calls-collaboration-enterprise-ethereum-launch/- "In general, I think there are a lot of things that we can work together on. We have shared challenges. If challenges get solved in one context, the solutions can be ported over to another context."
- "I hope that the ethereum core development community and the enterprise community can, as much as we can, put our forces together and see if we can come up with some solutions to something."
Microsoft, Intel, banks form Enterprise Ethereum blockchain alliance 😉 http://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-intel-banks-form-enterprise-ethereum-blockchain-alliance/- Microsoft is expanding on its Azure Blockchain-as-a-Service work by joining the new Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, along with Intel and a number of leading banks.
