The steep correction doesn't bounce this time. ETH has a grave problem and it is sinking in: No cap. Inflation will be -is already- completely out of hand and therefore, considering the problem of scalability, there's no reason for ETH to go back to 300s and much less to 400s. POS will make it even worse. Considerably.
Vitalik said the inflation will be what it needed to be, including -0. Well, it is already late to bring it on, otherwise, single hundreds are next. And quite soon.

ETHf is a pump-and-dump coin. You don't need a wallet. All you need is an account with an exchange to make use of the pump-and-dump activity.

I downloaded a wallet to my PC and Synk is working but stops at the last 150 to 250 blocks.

I have two problems:

1.)
This proces took several days because I did not have it online all the time. Therefore now I am not certain about my password.
Do you know a way to check my password other than sending coins?

2.)
I sent some coins to the wallet. Waited until next day because synk is stopping some blocks before the last one.
Now I synked again and I should see the coins. The transaction is ok on the blockexplorer but I have apparently no coins in the wallet.

some clients wont sync past some spammy txs deliberately created  that create a memory crash
but it should sync if you let it run long enough

if theyre there in the etherscan explorer than no need to worry
they are safe and sound

the full clients wont show them until they sync past that point and the blockchain is around 200GB thesedays
and some clients crash during sync and wont sync at all

so I will need at least 200GB only for the blockchain?
That is a lot.

Each time I start my wallet I get about 3000 blocks.
If I understand it well this are just a small part of the outstanding blocks.
