The next bullrun might not be happen within a year or two but there will be many short price spikes that would occur from time to time. You can still earn a lot in these price upticks but if you bought your coin at a higher price before a downtrend, it better to hold the coin till its go up again if you want to recover your losses. that was my goal use BITCOIN to buy alts and make more BITCOIN, but i dont stick with alts and tend to have atleast 50% of my portfolio still on bitcoin
