i agree with that, if you have something that could increase your bitcoin count that would make more profit than holding pire bitcoin alone. but instead of converting your bitcoin why not find something that would give you altcoin then let your bitcoin stay as some altcoin fluctuates frequently and might give you more losses than earnings.

Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?
Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.
Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.
So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?
As a rule, I use for investment not only BTC, but also altcoins and this is due to the fact that the funds should be kept in different places, today one grows or falls, tomorrow another, thus increasing the probability of obtaining the profit that I plan to receive. I do not agree with you. It seems to me that at the moment bitcoin is very cheap. Blockchain is a very serious technology, so bitcoin should be much more expensive than now. |

It depends, for me i will hold bitcoin for a long time and i will gain a huge profit and my second option is to buy altcoins and hold it for a long time. Both of my option is applicable and will gain a huge profit soon. |

From what I've consistently been reading and making sure to weigh both sides of people who are bearish and bullish on BTC.... I believe, IMO that BTC will reach an absolute minimum of $10k by the end of the year. That's just my opinion but we're seeing similar patterns with minimal changes to the passed few years, bubble-tank-stabilize-rinse-repeat... but I'm no expert.. |

use bitcoin. Don't hold it for god's sake. It's a currency and it's meant to be used, no hoarded. So please understand the whole concept first and then you might also benefit of price growth |

I'm not in the favor of holding any cryptocurrency too much long. Let me give an example, Let's suppose You bought 1 BTC at $7500 and let's suppose and it rose upto $12000. Sale it and buy USDT in return. USDT is a cryptocurrency which is dollar backed and no matter what happens to the market 1 USDT almost equals to 1 USD. And when BTC falls back to let's suppose at $8000 or $9000 you can sale your USDT and get back more BTC. This is how you can increase the number of BTC you hold. If you hold 10 BTC for 100 years, they will be 10 BTC after 100 years. So hold, sell at high price and buy back at low price.

BTC is very profitable coin for long time investment. You can seen price of BTC yearly increasing. Today BTC price is $7076. I believe BTC price will be hit 20K to 30K end of the year 2018. So you can buy and hold it.
