CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine!

leaf.charityminingpools.com

We need your help to grow! Come mine while making a difference.

Mandatory 0.5% donation fee goes to the BitGive Foundation this month.  We welcome and encourage you to donate more to a good cause.

STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.5% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.5% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!
CharityMiningPools

Please explain in details how to mine
i don't have any experience
i will rent regs from www.betarigs.com
but how to set the pool, and what parameters i have to give to the Rig rental?

Have you bothered to read the news recently, most crypto is taking a pasting due to the MTgox problem, yes we have other problems (market manipulation etc) but what are you doing the help them? other than just pointing them out over and over again?

People are working on all of the above and more, feel free to pitch in.

We are in a shit. The coin is almost dead. Not even close

A lot of promises.
A lot of talking.
Probably because we're always answering comments like these, rather than working on the projects because otherwise people moan we're not here and not doing anything

Nothing is happening.  Lots is being worked on, just takes time

There is no quick reaction.  only when we're asleep
No PR.  somebody offered to help with this, nothing happened yet though
No good website.   somebody offered to help with this, nothing happened yet though
Whales eat the coin.   This is not something devs can control, this is down to users
Multipools eat the coin.   Because so many users stopped mining due to price being driven down and so many other coins arriving
Coin is sinking.   It is being forced down buy a manipulator, how many times do we have to explain this?!

So, what is the plan, quick plan, quick reaction, quick implementation ?    Unless you have a few hundred bitcoin spare, there is nothing quick that can be done

How does the coin owner what to keep his coin clients stick to LEAF ?   This is not the coin owners coin, it is the community coin, get your finger out and help rather than moan.

the coin is just like mooncoin on Cryptsy, very big sell pressure/ price slowly down, the only difference is leafcoin has never pump.
i hope one day leafcoin will become Treecoin,  but for now it's very hard to say, i will continue to vote on Mintpal.com,

Feel free to take a try at it if you like, I know mcg already has one person working on a redesign, if we get a few designs up, we could do a vote on which everybody likes best.

note that my gf will take on the challenge to make something pro.

will be completed by tomorrow.

she always makes like 11 versions or something.

will post em all so you can make a selection of which ones r preferred.

i will let her spend 45 mins max at it ( only 45 mins, yes, only 45 mins )

the last logo she did was 30 minutes and was great.

ps. i have been waiting for the community to submit a replacement logo/coinimage. this did not happen.

Leaf coin twitter account is following Fontas ( Pump N Dump enthusiast ) and another Alt-coin pump & dump group. I wonder what the intentions of the OP is regarding LEAF's future.  Huh

He sounds technically very good, nice and responsive, but I think there is really a delay with developments and foundation for whatever reason. Alteast frequent updates will keep the coin community healthy. There is almost no effort on reddit. Dev team lacks PR. You have to spend the pre-mined coins for bounty and not expect people holding 1 million LEAF to do all the PR work

Volks, please do not forget to vote on mintpal for LEAF ( www.mintpal.com/voting  ). We need more exchanges. If this is another Pump N Dump, moving coins to Cryptsy during the peek will be a problem ( they may delay the deposits on purpose as they did for Vertcoin) and we may need more exchanges to participate & gain in such operation.

i am following them for one reason; being up to date on about what is going to happen. whales are at work.. so i want to know all about them.

technical: Yes, we know a thing or one or two ( or more Wink... but i have a daytime job as well... also its my bday currently and am not planning to do much today.

sure we lack PR. thats why i am currently offloading the pr thing to other ppl.

some ppl for china, someone else took over twitter and facebook is also beyond my reach now.

pre-mined coins were all spend on not getting fully raped by the mp. if you were here from start you would know the full story.

check the premine addresses.

we still have own mined funds.. but these are reserved for really good ppl that are doing really great things and not for ppl that just sit and wait.

It seemed that you asked those who have experience with CharityMiningPools and www.betarigs.com, I would be glad to help if I knew anything about how both of it works. Maybe guys from CharityMiningPools or betarigs will help you better.

What about doing a little investigation first?

FAQ from betarigs:

How does it work?

•You choose your rig, the duration of the rent.
•You pay to the specified BTC address.
•You specify which pool you want to mine.
•You wait for the BTC payment to be confirmed 1 time.
•And your rig start mining!

----

So what you do is make an account on a pool listed in the opening post of this thread(like http://leaf.updamoon.com/ ). Sign up , and create a worker on that pool, pay betarigs and start mining (when you give them the pooladres details mentioned in the "getting started" of the pool and the worker details.)

It's not that hard right?
