Just open multibit, then click Tools-> sign message.

Then you have to fill in your address from wich you want to send the funds.
Then fill in the message.
Then click "sign message" and then the "signature" will appear. That is the thing you will need to send exo.

this needs to trade on mintpal ... the more exchanges the better...
Exocoin has its own decentralized exchange therefore it's not necessary to trade on mintpal or somewhere else.

That is not true. The dev said many times that the exchange will not be ready for months after the launch. And even then I bet it would be too much of a hassle for newbs to figure out how to use it. Many people like the easyness of exchanges. Can't really argue with that.
That's sad to hear. I hoped to see DEx in a month after launch as it was mentioned on timeline.

Maybe i was pessimistic. 1 month still could be, but in his last message it sounded very low priority!

What is the problem, is there an error message?

Did you forget the password of the wallet maybe?

Did you check if the address is correct?

Does anyone know I how long it usually takes for exo_coin to approve the 2nd-stage-investment request? I'm wondering If I'm able to be an early-bird as deadline is already approaching and I'm an very new user. Huh

About 1 day now, but I doubt he will allow you to invest. Only if you can prove you are no multiaccount of  thelike.
too bad.  Cry  But that's the answer I expected.

By the way, sorry that I posted my question twice.

You do not need to get a confirmation before the deadline - just PM me before the deadline ;-)

update will be there in max 1 hour if the final check works well.
Well the in-GUI-market is not that low priority as it might sounded like. But we have to get the basics done before that obviously and need to face questions like website design and outside exchanges first.

Getting on an exchange is not required because eXocoin is going to have a built in EXO<->BTC exchange!
You are wrong, if we go to a famous platform like MintPal, we could attract more and more people , and I believe this coin will be successful.
Agreed, the build in exchange is neither programmed nor the key feature of the eXocoin system. Sure it is a nice-to-have but it is not essential and as stated for becoming popular and accepted you must get in one or more big exchange(s).
For this reason it is ok to launch eXocoin initially without integrated market. I guess it is better to launch without that feature and program it afterwards than delaying the launch 14 to 30 days completly. Sure an exchange must integrate eXocoin and that will not be done in some hours so we must care for this as soon as possible now.

Try to add on www.dgex.com. They are very welcome new coins.

Maybe you meant bittrex or poloniex? I've never seen dgex.com trading anything except NXT and bitcoins

Dgex is a manual exchange for withdrawal. Sometimes it takes 24 hours for someone to go there, check and do the operation. You lose business while waiting. Not to mention the withdrawal fees BTC.

It would be nice before adding EXO on exchanges, have a similar API as possible with bitcoin and its clones. Exchanges do not want to waste time studying a new currency, want to add what is easiest for them.
It is best to facilitate the addition via API in various exchanges that get stuck in one.

I hope this is not true. What a waste of money... They earn money from the traders, they shouldn't need to pay for that...

I can tell you that this is not true. We are not going to buy in in any exchange.

beta update V0.55 online: http://exocoin.org/index.php?s=download

I really do hope that this version will be more stable. I have been optimistic at V0.5 so I really cannot be sure that this will succeed. However we changed code on various places and V0.55 is better than V0.5 - that is at least *something* ;-)

(hopefully) enjoy trying out!
2nd stage investment possible for 4 more hours so you can still check out the client first.

best regards,
PMs will be answered in about 12 hours

Just a small note: the blockchain sync will need some time - that is normal since the latest update. Since the blocktime will increase by factor 10 you will not have to sync so many blocks in so short time after the real launch

next point we gonna target if launch succeeds:
- recheck everything
- add more code to wiki
- get exchange(s)
- website design
- integrate feature: delayed sending
- integrate feature: interest paying monthly
- full integration of miner, start with gpu miner
- process all 2nd stage investment PMs

regards eXocoin

Strange... just tested successfully. Please PM me with more details: browser + browserversion, the exact details you have entered (username, mail, not the pass) - thanks!

You cannot initiate a transfer / generate 10,000 EXO while chain is out of sync (that will be changed in later versions)
