Exo per person is ready now?

Also how do you handle the LTC/BTC conversion? Because you clearly stated that 50 LTC will give the same as 1.5 BTC. I would have invested BTC if I knew that I will now get less exo than with my LTC investment...

Not sure how you mean that... 50 LTC == 1.5 BTC, 10 LTC == 0.3 BTC and so on. So what is not clear about the conversion rate?

update is nearly ready now...

Ok just wanted to make sure that I get the same with my 50ltc as the 1.5btc guys because both was max investment.

I have seen so many people's math was educated by sport teacher.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

According to normal trade ration,  1 BTC = 40 LTC, 1.5 BTC = 60 LTC,  you will get extra 10 LTC if you invest 50 LTC. You should fell luck.. So am I .  Grin Grin Grin

Maybe their think LTC price will higher than BTC in future....

Hope the next beta released come soon.

Oh boy... You need to learn how to read.

When the IPO started we could either invest BTC or Ltc. 1.5 BTC and 50 ltc was maxinvestment. So it is pretty obvious what i meant... Why should LTC Investors now receive less even if they invested max...

Not sure how you mean that... 50 LTC == 1.5 BTC, 10 LTC == 0.3 BTC and so on. So what is not clear about the conversion rate?

update is nearly ready now...

change log of version V0.56:

- more criticalSection guards
- changed the way transactions are processed (queue+thread, processing of transactions near to a new block are delayed some seconds)
- enabled delayed sending feature fully (but still not selectable in GUI)
- 5 minutes block time
- send transactions with outdated chain possible again! (make sure that you have enough balance to process your transaction. Otherwise you may get a 20 minute ban)
- simplified and improved block creation process
- included fee calculation (included but for now fix setting: 0.1 EXO)
- enabled spam protection (monitoring enabled, the real "block" does not happen yet)
- retry block query if no answer within 5sec (this is only a partial solution! Chain stucking is still possible but the chance that that happens reduced by 50%. Please wait for V0.6 for a full solution)
- blockexplorer in GUI: list will be rebuild if the chain has been corrupt /->got a resync
- increased efficient network time tolerance between nodes from +- 5 (==10) to +-20 (==40) seconds, suitable for new block time of 5 min
- reworked udp reliable send, but disabled as we faced a new bug there (-> V0.6)
- improved chain sync process, eliminated a bug of version 0.55 leading to a potential chain async and thereby slightly reduced network traffic
- no more waiting time when initiating a transaction: It will broadcastet through the net instantly always! But the execution might be delayed (queue + thread + timeframe when tx will not be processed [near a new block generation])
- show GUI notification if tx will be delayed processed ("Transaction is valid and has been broadcasted to the network\nYour transaction will show up in XXX seconds.\nPlease be patient.") with XXX = one up to 40 seconds
- added GUI-market tab; just the GUI mask but nearly no function yet

next version (eta tuesday or wednesday):
- CPU miner
- elimination of bugs in the current version
- fix the sign/verify GUI dialogs
- create checkpoint block functionaliy
- full functional tab block explorer
- partly integration of interest paying system

regards
eXocoin
#edit: please just start the 0.55 version or download it. Then execute the update popup to get 0.56

Are you going to expand the team and involve the community more or are you going to continue run this as one man show?
How exactly do you would like to have the involvement of the community? You mean in terms of active code development? Or marketing?

The wait dialog cannot be dismissed after I send coin. I force close the wait dialog after 5 seconds , but the GUI client disabled . Then I restart, the debug

report" it ended with unsual way, please tell the dev team", the system also alert the program cannot open, you have to close or debug it. I have to close it again

and restart, finally the GUI client is normal and the coin is ok.

  System : Window 7 .

Had report it by GUI client.

Sorry, there are still ~70 PMs in my message box. I had to much to do with the latest update since it took way longer than expected. I am going to answer those today. Sorry for the delay in response to all!

Hi, not sure but it might updated anyway to 0.56? If not, please execute tmp/update.exe manually and tell me if that will do. Going to update a complete 0.56 version today evening as well.

The network looks stable at the moment! All nodes are snyced and running. Going to tell you more (e.g. the calculation of EXO<->BTC for all investors) later

Looks like it worked: "Update status: Your version is up to date." and there were no errors after 10 to 0 countdown.

I see the 100 EXO now in block explorer.
Good news: the chain update did not stuck anymore in my latest tests (got stuck but then moved on after a retry after 5 sec).
Good news: transactions are processed nicely and well in the new queue since latest update.
bad news: nodes are out of sync since ~10 minutes. You may not experience a difference at all since all nodes are still running and processing transactions. However we need to investigate again, of course.

#edit may I am wrong. Cannot see the 77 EXO ... we will give you a status notification what went wrong in some hours
#edit again: it cannot be in block explorer yet Cheesy lets wait some minutes to get the block into the explorer

yeah.. just got a fresh copy and there is no 77 EXO. At least it is a good thing that it vanished in your local copy (of course it would be better if it had been processed but at least it tries to present the real situation )

Lets see if the 78 will come across or not

Nope, the 78 just vanished too. I see a lot of "*BLOCKED->THROW AWAY*" in the log, has it something to do with this?

Yes, very likely. Unfortunatly I am getting that as well plus messages like "chain out of sync->skip". Checked the official nodes and those continiously displaying similar messages. Thus: I would say no new transaction will be processed anymore. Well :/ cannot say right now why that happened but I guess we need to wait for V0.57. Since eastern we cannot deliver an update before late monday I think. Restarting the nodes without bug fix does not help much.

#edit exokk and me took the next week holidays. So we will have some more time to work on eXocoin
