Guys how is the promotion? Do we have a facebook page? I know we have twitter and reddit. Lets get things workinng

Would good set the logo and redesigning the site prior to launch.

Gvans logo is the best:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=574490.msg6887802#msg6887802

compared to NXT's logo, EXO‘s logo need more power visual splendour , looked then never forget.
Gvans's logo is good ,but it seems not suitable for EXO.
from all logos list, i think
first choice is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=574490.msg6467761#msg6467761
second one is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=574490.msg6420808#msg6420808   (but unfortunately ,it's maybe same as others)
third one is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=574490.msg6381735#msg6381735

EXO gonna be great in the future so the choice of logo should suit for it。 First impressions are very important。

Definitely not, these seem a joke that is learning to tinker with graphics software.

The first was just a ready font. You can pick any one here (stay cool writing EXO):
http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=303&text=EXO
Apply to effect it has in most programs:
https://www.google.com/search?q=image+bevel+effect

The second was copied from google images and belongs to a Korean teen band:
https://www.google.com/search?q=exo+logo

The third font is also an effect of extrusion was applied:
https://www.google.com/search?q=3d+extrude+effect

So I tried to do something, but it was not good.
The only thing that seems to be made by a designer is gvans.
If it is not choice, the devs should hire a professional designer.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

My two cents :

I can do a HD logo but it's just a rough copy. Posted it on logo contest thread.

When thinking about a logo you need to keep in mind how easy will it be to reproduce on hats, mugs, t-shirts and printed material (ads, flies, posters )

Exact. I do not understand why instead of getting writing to a text document, place the lines of blocks within one or more tables database that already has an ACID framework implemented and tested efficiently.

Writes the blocks in SQLite3. Is written entirely in C:

As stated in the first post of the logo thread - we are not going to use the corean band logo. Well some of them might not be professionally created but in the end what counts is the design itself. If it fits the purpose (and is not a trademark of something else etc) I - personally -  do not care how much effort have been needed to create it.

Nevertheless I highly appreciate the suggestions we got so far. I think we can pick a good logo from them.
And yes, our current graphic is a self generated vector graphic.

The community will have the ability to make other wallets or redesign ours once we release the full source for it. We will possibly distribute good ones through our website as well.

Well I programmed a lot and used sqlite many times. It's easy to use, no question. But in this context I do not see an advantage? Sure, you can overwrite blocks but why would you do that / you would not get any advantage of doing that. You can alter a sql database as well if you want. Please tell me why you think it would be an advantage to use.

I am short in time again, so I just wanted to say: We made a first investigation of the error logs and found something very interesting already.

Normally all blocks looked like (we filtered the log's output to get faster the important details):

invalid hash@block@load
---

only two nodes got the same result. Everything else is totally different. Now, that is strange. We thought of a transaction might be processed by the one node and not by the other somehow. But then again we would only have 2 different results PLUS they should sync up again. After a binary comparision of 112.block on all nodes we could see that they are completly equal except in one detail - the block's hash value. And we found the "invalid hash@block@load" line as well.

So, this just as a background information for you if you are interested in some technical details Wink We will nail the problem further down this evening and probably tomorrow. We now know where the problem is roughly. It seems to be a minor issue (might be caused by a caching step) but we have to locate it exactly first. I'll give a further status notification in about 24 hours. If it is indeed only a smaller problem then we can still have the launch early June.

best regards

#edit: As stated, we want to have a stable client and don't try to rush the launch. This just as an addition to the quora/exo discussion. Also, we are quite fast until now in comparision to what we have reached in my opinion. We don't have a professional company/ paied team plus we have fulltime reallife jobs;) By the way I was not able to follow the quora movement since I did not find time for something like that. So I cannot tell anything about their quality etc.

I tried eXo GUI Client just now.
After finishing syncing, it crashed.
I restarted it, checked the block explorer:
all the blocks are still there, but except for ID 0-5, all the others are marked red X which mean not validated.
What does it mean?

I'm having an issue with blocks validating.  When I boot up the program, all the blocks validate just fine up to the current one.  But any new blocks generated when the program is open have a red X next to them.  However, if I close the program and re-start, they validate just fine.

Also, for the startup phase, it seems like it reads all the blocks in sequence.  With 400 blocks that's not too bad, but what will happen when it reaches 10000 or 100000?

Want to sell part of my exo stake.

Qora marketcap ~ 10.000 BTC
Exo marketcap ~ 7.500 BTC at launch (75% sounds reasonable)

10,000,000,000/50,000,000 = 200 times more qora.

Qora price 100 sats

100*200*0.75 = 15000 sats at launch per exo.

selling 50000 exo: 50000*15000 = 7.5 BTC

Im selling 50000 exo for 5.5 BTC!

Actually I do get offers from some kind investors.
The issue is Anon136 is too afraid of making a mistake, so he won't be involved in this.
So I guess I will purchase it after it launches. At that time, this offer is still valid Grin
