In my opinion it is bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping because some of altcoin are depending on the price of BTC because BTC is the highest of all currencies. As we can see in the blockfolio the price of BTC decreases, so perhaps next year the price will go high.

In general yes its affects the price of altcoins. Majority of altcoins decrease in value as bitcoin's price drops. Majority of crypto uses bitcoin as their paring in majority of exchanges. Also people panic when they see bitcoin is dropping and they sell their coins immediately at a lower price. Majority of altcoins depends on bitcoin in terms of volatility.

For me dropping of Bitcoin in the market price is not good for any alternative coins.
I will example it here in my country, If i have any kind of alternative cryptocurrency i need to exchange it first to BITCOIN.
Then after having BTC i need to change it to FIAT before withdrawing it. If BTC is low then i will get low amount too.
