While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.
that's right mate. Because being greedy isn't good especially doing trading 'cause you will end up to regrets and losing money, so first thing first if you want to earn profits, learn first to control your emotions before jumping into it and to avoid loses and etc 'cause that's the common reason why people always panic when there's a fluctuation in the market.

Haha. Off course that is the first rule we should stick to our mind if we are going to enter into the crypto currency trading. You know that crypto at a time can give us huge profits, with the good day and luck one can go 200% in earnings in single day but it doesn't mean that we should go crazy about it and keep putting more even if you see that kind of profits. Its always better to stop trading at that time and get whatever you have in your hands.

I would say having 5-10% profits is also huge thing and its always better to close off the trade immediately and no matter what if the coin is still rising or not. The reversal of the whole trade can take place in matter of time!

Greed is one of the reason why we are losing our money sometimes in different scenario.

Its not good to always look how to gain instantly without considering other circumstances.

Its better to take it slowly so we can monitor the right timing to take profit, follow the rules and set aside your emotion to avoid unwanted outcome because of our wrong decision.

I agree with you in trading we should not be greedy and be a note I think is doing research on the coins that want in trading right and at least we have the science Technical analysis,
Being greedy usually make people to lose potential profit. After entering a trade at the bottom, they then just keep wondering if there is a possibility for the trade to hit higher until they end up missing the best point they could have sold eventually. There is something I have always learned over the years, always have a buying and selling strategy and stick to it, as long as you do that, you will always do better than being greedy and looking for something more.

Greedy when it comes to trading is going to always set you for failure anyway and the only way most people get greedy is because they fell they can just with the coin they are holding get rich overnight and therefore do not always have a strategy to sell even before entering a trade. It is always important to always follow the necessary rules in trading so as not to stand a chance of huge loss in the end.

I fully agree that it is greed that prevents us from making a profit. Greed this is the reason why I did not sell tokens when prices was high, although I strongly understood that tokens need to be sold. However, I thought the course would be higher and higher. The weakest link in the system is our greed.
It just seems like it's easy to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. Usually you buy on high and sell on top, because you can't wait  or just fear.
I made this mistake, I became more cautious and realized that I needed a specific entry plan, when to buy and exit plan, when the crypto needs to be sold and kept away from the market.
Sometimes you should be away from market because this is just not good time to trade. I think you can't trade all year. This is wrong, because you don't have so much energy to trade every year.

Not all have the same conclusion like that. They also win the game because of that greed. But the problem is they wont stop. Added another greed from a greed. That is just way too much.

You are right with that though. But who don't want some extra money when you know it will really go there. We have our own predictions and we have a thought of "What if I am right?" "What if it will really go the way I imagined it?"

Those kind of questions is what makes us not to stop. Some see it as greed and some think of it as patience.

Greed can also be a blessing in another situation. However, I believe that you shouldn't be too greedy during trading. I think the best way to decide whether you are making the right decision or not is to read much on any coin you want to trade. Learning much about the coin will help you know the how the graph goes and from that, you will know what to do.

Exactly. It's more important to trace first the history of a certain coin and its present updates so you will have an assurance that it's going to give you a good profit if you keep on spending your time to it.Don't rush things based on your selfish acts or longings,it will only make you a loser in the end.I think even in all aspects in life greed is not really recommended.

It is a good point to note but I also think greedy is subjective and depends on what an individual may see as greediness. I think it will be more understandable if you said we set a realistic target while we trade.

Greed becomes the image of people exiting in crypto in short terms, like they've been looking for a short-term profit, expecting some coins for a bit then going out after they received their short trades. It is rarely a good thing to do if you want to go win-win, but mostly it is always a loss. Opportunity, lad. It is what is getting lost when you get greedy. Get happy with that profit you get then regret it in the end.
Whenever a human is involved or happy to be interested in something that is giving big money but in short time, they are supposed to be greedy for money. Remember this thing, no one can give you big money in short time with no efforts to be put, if someone is saying to do so, that is just a scam. You are not encouraged to apply in here. Go for something that have respectable way of earning.

I agree with you. Having rules is vital when you are trading and without it you will be out of the game in a jiffy. As I learned when I was new to trading rules will save you, always set reachable target price and a reasonable target loss. Always follow that target. It does not matter if the coin continue to rise because sometimes waiting for a higher price is deadly. Sometimes instead of going up it will goes down. As my mentor told me a gain is a gain, Lock in your profits.

Yeah making plans is important, I always make the first price target, second, and third. you're right sometimes waiting too long when the price goes up is deadly and probably will hurt you. making the target price you want to sell, will keep you out of greed. but you should make a reasonable price target and do not stick to the target price only, still do according to market conditions

Greediness is a part of human nature and each of us has a varying degrees of greediness but it will only harm you if it goes out of control. Beginners have the tendency to become greedy because they want to make more profits quickly. Greed should be controlled because it is very bad things and it takes away the principles of trading that we know. You are always expecting a huge profit that might not come to reality.

If you hold your coins for the long term is it not greedy?
when you have earned a profit.
I began to get annoyed with a greedy understanding.

Here the meaning changes on which coin you are going for long-term like if are holding bitcoin then it is not greedy to hold for long-term but if you are holding some other altcoin which is not worthy then it is better to take profit immediately

You can be a trader or an investor both are risky but of course don’t be greedy because it can ruin everything that you plan. Usually those who greed so much ended up nothing, so better to take it slowly but surely. This market is good in long term you have more time to accumulate good coins and don’t be so greedy.

greedy, it is like human nature when predict something especially money.
in trading that feeling often happens.
it can be lucky or worst.
if we can notice the market well, that's good for you
but if you are beginner or having no idea about trading, better don't take the risk !
it could be danger.

While greediness delivers us to failure i think sometimes this attitude brings us to succes, just like when were tending to risk our chance for profit while others telling us to hold.then after a few hours the price of that specific coin drops ,then because youre greed you have sold the coins when you think its the peak price.

Being patient is the main reason for profiteering but not at all times it will happen, though OP is totally right greed will bring you down.always...
