There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Looks like something broke with the Execoin (Scrypt-N) fork yesterday.  We had to disable it since blockchains weren't syncing properly, but looks like it was crashing every time we'd check it...  Should be fixed now (should see the unexchanged coins process in a bit here).

Before you quit mining please be so kind to read the faq. It is there for a reason.

"Payouts are processed multiple times a day, and anyone with a balance over 0.005 BTC is automatically paid in order of when you reached the threshold. On Sundays we pay everyone with a balance over 0.0005. "

Conveniently, the day you got paid ".003" and up, was a Sunday, which, as previous referenced, is when we pay out 0.0005 and up.  Normal days are 0.005.

I don't feel these limits are too high.  At recent prices (~$600), 0.005 is $3, and 0.0005 is $0.30.  Its just a matter of transactions costing a larger and larger percent of the value at low send amounts.

@PW
got any prospects for X13 so we can get back to mega profitability? Smiley

Also is there a bandwidth issue I occasionally get this at begin of miner stats page:

rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/css/site.css?t=1">
scrypt    Hashrate: 10.60 GH/s    Mining: payzorcoin    vsLTC: 144%
nscrypt    Hashrate: 266.79 MH/s    Mining: vertcoin    vsLTC: 274% ?
x11    Hashrate: 30.63 GH/s    Mining: cryptcoin    vsLTC: 296% ?
x13    Hashrate: 103.41 MH/s    Mining: bitlion    vsLTC: 0% ?
WafflePool.   a profit based altcoin mining pool

And the page gets displayed screwy LOL.

I'm watching the forums.  X13 looks to be reasonable abandoned, not a ton of new coins created, and those that are are generally ignored by exchanges (at least during their POW phase)...  Market also seems to have (mostly) ditched Scrypt-N, and has settled on mostly Scrypt (ASIC dominated now), and X11 (where all the GPU miners moved to when Scrypt ASICs showed up).

As for the broken page, I've seen it once or twice as well.  My only guess is that its coming from something on cloudflare's side (they run compression/optimization of HTML/Javascript).  I can try turning down the optimization settings, but every so often I see it, go "I should probably fix that", and then refresh and go "well, I've got something more pressing for now, a refresh fixes it".

This from MP news section:
Jul 31 8:22 PM Just a reminder that KARM will switch to the X11 algorithm at block 255,000. That's in less than 180 blocks!

Apparently this switch has already occured as their X11 multi-port see's this as most profitable and has just recently switched to KARM ...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=579973.0

Quote
We have forked Karma, obviously there are 2 forks. Exchanges and everyone else has agreed x11 is the correct fork. Blocks will always be mined under the old scrypt algorithm however they are worthless because no exchange or anyone else for that matter will accept them as being valid.
If there are 2 forks, it probably means it is working correctly. I'm sure Kosmost (the lead developer) will confirm soon.
It will take sites several days to update their information. The Karma Team have advised all the sites they could think of and I'm sure they will be sending reminders to those sites over the next couple of days.

EDIT:  Seems to have displaced URO as the top coin Smiley
I'll have a fully synced wallet database in a few hours which is connect= to a known X11 master node and can provide a .7z of it when it is ready.

PW, is there a problem with the display of scrypt miner stats? I've been seeing a 50/50 split between earned and unconverted for a couple of hours. Seems like a high ratio of unconverted.

Was I helpful?   BTC: 3G1Ubof5u8K9iJkM8We2f3amYZgGVdvpHr

I bet it's Cryptsy again.  Other switching pools are reporting issues exchanging, especially WDC, for the last three days.

You're lucky, it usually takes 25%.

NO, wafflepool takes nothing more than the 2% fee. Most of the times when hashrate is incorrectly displayed it's a problem on the user's end.

Hashrate as reported by pools is ALWAYS an estimate.  The pool doesn't know your real hashrate, it can only estimate it based on the shares you submit.

So, your hashrate as reported on a pool:
1. Is subject to variance (will drift up and down)
2. May be lower if you are getting hardware errors or encountering other issues.

Also if you are using an Asic, your hashrate will fluctuate wildly compared to gpu rigs.

Now i uderstand why the pool is still alive !!!

Seriously??? WP has been one of the best Auto Switching pools around and I'm sure that there are few people hew who would disagree with me and agree that WP is stealing hashrate. So unless you have some legit proof, where there is no variance involved, no one really wants to hear it.

PoolWaffle has been the most honest, upfront, transparent pool operator I have ever seen. This is one of the best (best in my opinion) pools out there. Before screaming scam, maybe ask for help or understand how pools estimate your hashrate based on submitted shares.

Thanks for reassuring me.  Smiley
