Its now possible to delete your account if you want, on the profile page there is a link to the account deletion page.

All logs, deposits and withdraws etc has always been deleted after 10 days but the account remained on the system, now its possible to delete this part too.

Im getting more and more support messages from users losing coins to phishing sites. There is a phishing site that is pretty high on google search results of bitcoin blender, its the third in the list. Its important to use the correct URL and it can be found on the first post on this thread.

If anyone can help me getting the phishing site removed from search results or hosting provider or at least lower ranks on search results (anti seo) then i will pay you for helping, please contact me!

For a very long time i've had a meta refresh with a html encoded link as a countermeasure against mitm phishing/Onion Cloner, it redirects the user over to the correct site as the browser decodes the character but Onion Cloner did not.

Lately i have been getting more users visiting through mitm phishing proxys again, i investigated and found that it now rewrites html encoded characters to keep the browser on the wrong onion host, so the meta refresh redirect trick above does not work any more.

I have written a very simple javascript that runs in the browser and checks if the correct host is used, the correct hostname is base64 encoded inside the javascript and so far this is not rewritten by the mitm proxy sites. The base64 encoded string is then decoded on browser side and if its not correct it will redirect over to the correct host.

<script>
   if (window.location.host != atob("Yml0YmxlbmRlcnZyZmt6ci5vbmlvbg==")) {
      window.location.host = atob("Yml0YmxlbmRlcnZyZmt6ci5vbmlvbg==");
   }
</script>

I am not encouraging to activate JavaScript in browsers, but if the user has it activated i might as well use it for something good.

Updated the captcha to have a signature inside the image, the signature is the correct bitcoin blender hostname (bitblendervrfkzr.onion), this will hopefully make the user detect that they are on a mitm phishing proxy.

Just stopping by to show my man some love! I've been using your services for about 2 years now for my DNM activites & you've never done me wrong. Start off using BTC Fog & like a duck I ended up falling a victim to their scamming! Thankfully it wasn't a lot of coins but I never used their services again, BTC Blender on the other hand has always come through for me! With minimal fees as well, you can't beat that!

Thank you for everything mate  Cool

Thank you loveandpeace!

Two new features have been implemented on Bitcoin Blender

1. QR codes for deposit addresses.
2. Option to send your withdraw as a Single Transaction, this is needed for sending coins directly to payment sites that does not support multiple transactions.

Thanks everyone!

According to that website my mixer service is a scam because i once created a wordpress page?

The wordpress page is just a post i made to describe how to access Bitcoin Blender over Tor, so if people google for Bitcoin Blender they will hopefully see this thread here on bitcointalk or that wordpress page and find their way to the correct site instead of a phishing site.

Just cross posting here from this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631446.0 .I don't know how legitimate the original blender mixer is but do stay away from the surface web link,ie www.bitcoinblender.org.Op has confirmed it's a fake website after it scammed.

@OP : Please report the surface web so it's taken down without causing much harm.

after launching you signature campaign I came to know about that and the system is much pretty I tried it and felt it much smoother to mix my bitcoins with your bitcoin blender. Before that I was using bitmixer.

Edit:

I recently read some posts of some people where they are claiming for it to be a scam, I hope it will work correctly and will not scam, by the way I will keep my transactions lower and will see the future of it that where it go.

As long as you use the correct URL to access Blender there wont be any problems.

Problem is if you google for Bitcoin Blender or bitblender there are some results that are scam/phishing sites, im working on having these sites removed but its not as easy as it sounds when the hosting provider just dont believe me.

Here are some features i have implemented on the site to help against mitm phishing/scam sites.
1. Two-Factor Authentication with PGP key.
2. The captcha on the register page displays the correct URL to use.
3. Its possible to know that the deposit addresses displayed are correct by verifying that the Proof of Ownership PGP message is signed by my key, save the PGP message.

Ok, the service till yesterday was great, but it shows, that its better to know who is owner of the site.

And it shows that this mixing service is not usefull to park a lot of bitcoins there.

Btw. mixing service might not be an illegal business so why isnt there a legal company providing a mixing service?
