The most useless kind of update  Grin
Well at least it means the chance BitPonzi's wallet gets stolen is slightly lower.

When I got DDOS'd, it was literally 12 hours after I'd moved the entire wallet to a secure cloud wallet. Nobody ever had direct access though, and the only way they could really steal anything is to cause a glitch and be positioned correctly to exploit it, like how everyone got paid out yesterday.

Nah. I don't really care. The only uncomfortable thing was that they knew the port my bitcoin server was on, and they attacked ONLY my port. Still not sure how they figured that out, or if they even really knew it was Bitcoinduit, really. It was just an active wallet.

Compromise, I just set it to 48. Too many dead rounds build up if the max duration is too long...

Does anyone think that making a massive jackpot every day with 1 hour expiration is a good idea, or should we stick to one game at a time?

DAILY MASSIVE JACKPOT

Part of a new daily, 48-hour fixed expiration series of massive jackpots.  These are staggered so that every day there'll be two of these, one for sniping and one for investing!

http://bitponzi.net/Default.aspx?page=ViewRound&round=DAILY_MASSIVE_1 !!!! YOU WILL BE A MILLIONAIRE IF YOU INVEST IN THIS GAME.

Starts with 2.1BTC jackpot, and it goes up from there! 2.4BTC JACKPOT! 2.7BTC JACKPOT! 3.0BTC jackpot!

I like it.

Hey, who wants a desktop bet bot or any help setting up their own betbot? You'll need to change your bitcoin.conf file to allow RPC access, and set credentials.

Then read this: http://www.wikihow.com/Install-the-PHP-Engine-on-Your-Windows-PC

Then download Bitcoinduit-source-0.2.zip and betBot.zip from http://bitcoinduit.com/[filenames]

Put bitcoinURL.php and jsonRPCClient.php into the same directory. Edit bitcoinURL.php with your wallet settings.

Schedule a task in windows to call your script at intervals. Set your level of risk in the Jackpot ratio of the betBot.php file.

Done.

I see no reason why it wouldn't.. You would probably want to edit line 7 and 8 for minimum and maximum time to ensure that your bet gets placed right at the end, or as close as you can get to it. a window of 5 seconds or so, maybe, and you'd then want to call your the betbot from your scheduler at least every 10 seconds.. I'll test it out..
