its not against it based on my own understanding, just thinking of the risk involved in it, when the bitcoin is regulated, trusted, he will revert all his negative statement.

Most rich people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are against investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general because of the huge risks due to heavy volatility. I'm very bullish on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but it's indeed a huge gamble. "Moon" and "lambo" gains aren't guaranteed. We're just pretty much speculating and hoping that it would indeed rise to very high prices.

Rich people, because only riches wanted to be richer, they only wanted things to be in favor of them. His reason might be for personal interest, for rich interest. But there is nothing for him to be afraid of because as we can see the bitcoin can give us benefits where as not only rich will be the beneficiary but at the same time also poor people who wanted to have a better life. From the comments he made, it is obvious that, Bill Gate is against investing into cryptocurrency. There's no need to invest in Bitcoin  because Mr bilgates is the number one Richiest man  in the world for a long time because of their business which is Operating System that really useful for every computer in all over the world
 So I think Mr bilgates given the opportunity to ordinary people like us to use Bitcoin.

Well thats very realistic and youre just being truth for all that those billionaires wont risk their money in not so sure profit,meaning they would preper physical investments than this kind of virtual and we cant blame them because its their own hardship before gaining that amount

Basically he doesn't want to invest in a very risky investment. Volatility makes bitcoin a high risk investment since it can go down in value in no time. Just like warren buffet, they will be very careful with their investment and something like bitcoin is not what interest them

And I think Bill Gates is right. This is also probably the reason why Bitcoin went down after it's peak last December last year. There's to little Bitcoin in circulation because people are holding them. Bitcoin is not being used as it should be, as a currency.  That's why Gates said that Bitcoin is not "producing anything" that's why we should not expect it to go up.

Lots of people who manage to be 'so bullish' at BTC tend to claim it as their genius act, never showing the risky 'gambling' factors they have taken long long before. We have to admit, most of the OGs are just lucky nerds.

Maybe because it's highly volatile. He's protecting us from possibly gambling into cryptocurrency which will probably be the biggest mistake we could ever make if we blindly follow the crowd. Cryptocurrency may also destabilize the whole fiat money industry of a country.

But I am surprised and I don't think he has invested in bitcoin. His opinions about bitcoin can affect the price and he knows it. If he had invested in bitcoin, he would try to cause the price to rise.
