Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Jeez. This list is like a room full of toddlers that just had their candy taken away from them.

What an utter bunch of wailing babies u lot are. It's cryptocurrencyland, welcome to the wild west.

Go and have a beer (if any of you are legal), STFU and try again tomorrow.

You were wayyy to PC...i think "a bunch of whining little bitch ass pussies" would be a better fit.

if you remember last tuesday was a failed announcement/launch
today was a failed wait we want to do it properly launch
tomorrow?

How many started working on a private GPU miner, based on leaked maxcoin-cpuminer?

i believe its password protected

I got it and its not password protected, but just not usable in any way without doing some work. There is no button to click on to get the miner to work or to submit a (windows start run: to)

The devs still haven't updated the first post in this thread to tell people what's going on, stale launch time, message hasn't been removed.

Why cant these amazingly talented programmers who built alt-coins add a single line of code that Orphans all blocks until 7.30pm GMT tomorrow? WTF this is all a show.

And about their website being down (bad cat) and bitcointalk going 502 thats another show. The developer could simply add a torrent link, problem solved. Let everyone install and run and dont let any blocks approve until a predetermined date.

People, People calm down...
You want a fair coin ? With SHA3 like algorithms? Go for QubitCoin[Q2C].
5 Hash functions which were candidates for SHA3. Coin is working and being traded with good community. No premine at start. One month old. No GPUs(yet?) and no ASICs. And for now no or small botnets only... Solo mining possible with good hardware.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=411065.0

Enjoy.

Probably British, its night time there, hanging out at a local Pub maxing his credit cards so he can pay them off the day after tomorrow.

If the devs or Max himself expects to make money from their coin, then their dev team can at least have the decency to update the first post or make a post here in the thread.

They can't act is if we're just along for the ride. This community could make or break Maxcoin. They should show a little respect. I don't blame them for delaying the launch, but the way they're distancing themselves from the community is disappointing. As if we do not matter?

Why are you complaining about a coin launched on a bitcoin forum? Coin devs didn't do the homework, if they did, they would know they souldn't be using a resource that they couldn't control

Party is over. Coin proved to be a simple copy/paste clone.

Everyone back to mining DOGE now.

Maybe if the majority of the forumers wouldn't act like butthurted impatient arrogant twelve-year-old fucks in every single thread, then maybe they would care. As it stands I'm not even shocked about the rumors of the possibility of the altcoin section being removed.

Not your keys, not your coins!

The zip contains the source code.  In order to use the miner it you will have to compile it.
