Somehow, in the distant future they will probably end, but now this sphere is at the stage of its inception, therefore the projects will only become more.
It's just a beginning , how could people start making this kind question lol. Instead talking this sh*t , better to talking about the ico development, how it could as secure as IPO etc. the crypto era is here and a lot of great things waiting ahead along with ico itself .
Just expecting In 2 or 3 years there would be more innovative way to invest through ico and it's become a common thing

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

But ICOs has just started; they have no age yet !! Even though the scammy ICOs are mashroomly spreading but we axpect a lot of regulations being set to manage this environement. ICO is a genuin idea to overtake financial problems for startups and for those that has limited access to investors communities.
Reminder: the massive adoption of KYC verification process by ICOs, nowdays, can rise a red flag about the definition of ICOs besides Blockchain vision of anonymity through decentralisation.

I am sure ICO will never end because now more and more investors who want to join ICO.
Not really inded. Only few millions peoples are daily users of cryptocurrencies.

I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
It couldn't be dead as this is the fastest way of advertising their products but I may think it will be lessen it's numbers when it could be regulated by the government. As we have notice that some ICO's today are just scam/ghost project and makes investors doubtful of investing in crypto, it could really affect the entire market as only few people giving their trust.

I truly believe that ICOs will never end. For a founder, it's a great way of raising enough money for the development in less time possible. Just think about it, if you have an idea and you have to raise a lot of money, will you go to FFF or business angels rather than just create an ICO? The main problem with FFF is that you won't get enough money for your business to get started, and from a different type of investors, you will have to give them money back with huge interests which is kind of sad after gaining your first revenue  Sad

if the ICO`s end than they will turn to the start up projects maybe. But I believe that they will end someday as well as the bounties will end, for that reason we have to learn about trading and other stuff and not rely on bounties 100%.

Yes I agree with you, so many ICO now are fake or scams, They stole money from investors and never comeback,  maybe the ICO in the next days will be lessen , the fakes will be removed, the regulation will be strict and only real ICOs will remain.

I see no reason why ICOs should end.
More and more people come to invest in ICOs. For me it just has started and will continue for a long time.

Yes, I think it would actually end. Seeing the unending entries of ICU in the past few years made me realize that someday when the limit would already reach and the market is crowded with thousands of ICO them i think someday ICO will be prohibited.

Not possible, basically there is no way ro discourage project owners to prepare ICO as basically its like real world IPO and thats a huge financial factor for growth and well, money is money. Yes I agree many projects with millions worth token died out from incompetence, but well there are many ways to realize the fact of their failures like real world company do! By being aabsorbed in this case into others, there would be less coin in the market but that doesnt stop new ICOs popping out

I don't think so, because ICO is just like IPO, this is the time to get money for the project. But it can be changed into something better, but I don't know how it can be, just wait and see what will be happen in future

I think as long as cryptocurrency is still there then the ico will also continue. because ico is also related with cryptocurrency, and certainly following the ico is also one of investment. i think as long as ico is still there it will be better if we follow it well to get the big results faster.

I personally don't think that ICO are going to end completely but definitely there is a tendency towards increasing private sales and decreasing public sales

I think we will see more regulations on ICO rather than end.

Regulations must be there to avoid scam ICO's

I don't think so, but it definitely will be regulated and soon will look lile any other crowd-funding space right now, except for its' blockchain basis.

That won't be that funny, but it can erase the biggest part of scam.

Not strictly end, I would say. At least not until solid blockchain infrastructure and projects are build. Think about blockchain Facebook, blockchain PayPal, blockchain Google Drive parallels, that sort of projects. Probably ICOs will evolve in some way. In fact, they are already evolving. Check out DAICOs!
Evolution is just starting and I believe things would even get crazier than this. Lot of companies is fuelling their ideas easily with ICOs, and since it is a global market, it makes it easy for most of them to easily go through with it. We cannot rule out the fact that regulation and some governmental policies may actually end up affecting in a way though, but until then, before we know the impact that would have, I guess we are still in it.

It all depends on the regulation of the countries participating in the ico, for example, not all citizens of the Usa are allowed to participate in the ico, in the future there will be more such countries, under the pretext of protecting their citizens from fraud.
