What do Altcoins offer that Bitcoin does not?

Altcoins possess much of the same applicability of Bitcoin but many offer something else as well. Some of them are faster, some are more anonymous, some provide better investment options, some are more volatile and thus are more advantageous in terms of trading.
I have high regards that Altcoins surely outpass Bitcoins in many ways. What do you think guys?

maybe yeah, Altcoins will outpass Bitcoins, because bitcoin is super expensive. most of the people are failing to invest in bitcoin because of high price, people are going for altcoin that's why

other than the expensiveness of the coin, altcoins provide a specific purpose for their coin. For example, LYMPO uses their token to monetize your fitness goals and reward you with LYM tokens, Ripple is a banking support platform mainly about growing projects and long term investments. Do you get where i'm getting at? Altcoins are crypto that are different from each other, making them "alternates" or "variants" for bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the market leader. That’s why altcoin follow bitcoin but bitcoin don’t follow altcoin and it also depends on the projects position in the market. If they are good in the market then they will declare offer.

I don't think altcoin will surpass BTC.
Because the status of BTC has been recognized by many countries, most of the time, different altcoin can bring changes in different fields.

Bitcoin is the oldest and first coin, almost all new altcoins are better than him, but bitcoin has one advantage with which so far no other coin can compare, it's safety.

Bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency which is used to send it to anyone without being worried about any middleman. But their are many altcoins and they offers a lot of different functionalities. Yes, many altcoins have better features and advanced technologies compared to Bitcoin. But I think BTC is not going to be replaced as #1 because it has the name.

If it surpassed bitcoin in so many ways you are forgetting of one thing and that is the market cap.

Bitcoin is still the most in demand coin so that can never be surpassed, these coins are all came into one idea and they are just upgrading or adding some features that bitcoin doesn't have. But it will never change the real thing that bitcoin is still the best and has the biggest market cap.

Altcoins have some greater benefit apart from long term investment. Some are faster in transaction , give high trading profit.  Some are used as cryptobanks, some for particular payment for specific areas like travels, hotel and accommodation etc just like trippki.

In some perspective alt coins gives better facilities than btc also there is stable price and there is also better investment for trading also in some perspective better fees and way is better than btc based on this everything has their own characteristics where alt coin also have also in some case they are giving more advantage.

Bitcoin is still base currency for trading for most of the coins and it will always have advantage of being first crypto also it's founder is anonymous which add more credibility to the coin.

Basically many people think altcoins as just copy cat of bitcoin which used to be true before but these days most of the altcoins are just tokens based on either ETH or other smart contract platforms which is completely different type than true crypto.

Only few altcoins offer more than what bitcoin can.

From the technical reasons and they are all have surpassed the bitcoin but remember that's not the main purpose of bitcoin. Satoshi nakamoto was created the bitcoin to be the future digital payment system, but it has a very good advantage to store our value rather than altcoin bitcoin has adopted widely.

Come on, everyone knows that USD has even bigger cap than BTC, but still all crypto-enthusiasts here believe that crypto will one day replace fiat. Isn't it wierd and doesn't it sound unrealistic? Yes, it actually does. But we all believe in this at the bottom of our hearts. So what does stop you from believing that some altcoin will one day replace BTC?

Altcoin? Alternative coming from the word altered, which means different. Altcoins will aim what Bitcoin doesn't have yet in order to fulfill uniqueness. Where it can guarantee  investors because on how it is different from Bitcoin. This is the reason of the existence of every single ICOs out there. It is to be different. There are some foolish investors that thinks that that altcoin is still applicable to be an existing coin in the market.

There's so many alternative coins running in the market and each coin have their own purpose as concept of its project while Bitcoin was already established its fame and popularity, however if we combine all altcoins , l think you're correct , it will outpass BTC someday .
