I do not understand why the KUS is necessary for participants in airdrops and bounty. It seems to me that this procedure should only concern investors of large projects and no one else.
This is not really complex, the reason they ask you for that information is because they are paying you with tokens and they need to know at first who gets those tokens, if bounty campaigns instead of paying with their tokens paid with BTC or ETH then you will not need to go through KYC but that will cost money while a bounty that pays with tokens is basically free since you are paid only with tokens which have no value yet.

currently some bounty programs require participants to pass KYC to get payment for their work, this is understandable if it has been announced before starting the bounty program. but if there is bounty manager who announces kyc requirements when bounty will end, this is not fair to me

Did you ever pass KYC for an airdrop token? I am strictly avoiding that, because the amounts to be airdropped are mostly too low. Or did some of you already pass KYC for an airdrop that was worth it?

I will not give my documents for any airdrops. $10- $50 in exchange for my personal information is just insane. I would do it for a bounty campaign like in signature because it'll be $500- $1k and I make research first to know if the ICO team is trustworthy enough to make my documents not getting leaked.

KYC to verify the supplier's identity needs to have a portrait with a national identity card or a rate card. This is a standard model in the investment industry to ensure that the investment advisor determines the cost information. Details about risk tolerance

In as much as I do not participate in airdrops, but I do bounty and I think KYC is very good because it helps to reduce the rate of scam in the campaign and also rude of fraud by registering with double account in the campaign.

The application of KYC to Airdrop and Bounties does have a positive and negative side. But I think if the companies implementing the bounty program are already registered officially in their local country then it is okay they are applying it to obey government regulations.

Scammers always have solution and I am sure they can use someone else kyc details for bounties . and it is not the reason for asking KYC by Bounty Managers . Bounty Managers have to follow guidelines of project and if project need it he ask it . KYC is mainly used for investors so that no bad element can invest in that project . but few projects ask KYC even for bounty and airdrops .

That is a really low move from some campaigns after all if at the beginning of the campaign you are told you need to go through KYC then people can decide if they want to form part of that campaign or not, but when they tell you at the end you have to go through KYC when there was not an announcement this was going to be the case at the beginning that is really unfair.

Yes, now they have made KYC necessary for bounties and air drops. The clear reason is to check the fraudsters and to make the program authentic. You have to register before a bounty or an airdrop campaign mentioning your social media pages details, your email id and wallet addresses. KYC has also been made compulsory in all the crypto exchanges that exists.
I agree with your suggestion and do not think it is necessary to avoid the KYC because most airdrops and bounty now request for KYC before you can join and I think this will help reduce the rate of fraud in bounty and airdrop as those that use multiple account will be reduced.

KYC for airdrop seems very horrible and very sensitive because you give your self identity to others and it is very dangerous you better avoid airdrop that must fill KYC, while for bounty KYC should also not in need karene that your privacy and have risk which is very high if you have to do KYC, but if the result is a lot then KYC is not a problem just for bounty only. need to remember to give KYC it is very high risk.

Yes, everyone knows about it in order to submit the KYC for bounty but we have no choice after working for 3 months leaving the coins for KYC verification is not good. So if the company is good and has the ability to reach the target hard cap better submit the KYC without any problem. From my point of view, there is risk involved in KYC submissions.

Bounty companies are many and there is no guarantee that your docs will be shared. The introduction of KYC allows you to reduce the number of scammers in the bounty, but there are risks of preserving your personal data. KYC is good because its avoid the people who wanted to be cheats like doing multiple account and wallets. That’s why airdrop hunter and bounty hunter hate them.

If you are not comfortable joining campaign with KYC then you need to pass over it. Though it's good we need to look for another... Me myself would like to keep my own privacy, but if the project is under the government then we don't any choice...

I agree. I just select a few airdrop and never pass KYC in it.The value you get cant cover the risk you will be take if something goes wrong. Once your important info is gen to them, you cant control it anymore.Be carefull when sending sensitive information online.

No you silly, KYC is not to find out who is cheating bounty campaigns, google kyc and aml and read why it is needed for ICO.

I don't know why it is required for bounties because you are not really buying or withdrawing anything.

With all these scams nowadays you have to be stupid to provide information.

its not stupid to provide information as long as you are sure that you are providing is legit.  I also agree that kyc can help lessen cheaters because you are required to upload some identity verification .

We are all conscious about are privacy , that is why most of dont like the kyc work . though we can still accept the fact that kyc is really helpful .overall much better if we can just avoid joining a bounty or an airdrop that requires kyc in order to avoid hassel .

That's the right thing to do. If you don't want to provide private information then just skip that bounty or airdrop and find something else that do not require KYC. There are still a lot of campaigns that do not need KYC as long as you can follow the rules then you will be rewarded. Once you send your private info to the team then we don't know what they will do with it. I do not discredit the team who ask for KYC but I believe there are some who will use the info for their own personal gain and this is what I am afraid of.

If you can still avoid bounties doing KYC then just avoid it but then if you trust the team that they will just use it for verification purposes then go with it. I don't think KYC is required for bounties and airdrops though because we are no investors of the project.

I've joined airdrop or bounty using kyc but for me kyc is too complicated.
I understand if the ICO project asks KYC for a reward. because, they have to protect themselves.
