Interesting scenario, but I believe Bitcoin will not be replaced with any Altcoin as king of cryptocurrency. The second may remain Ethereum. Plenty of competition on Altcoin, but the current development is still much influenced by Ethereum. In the third position, possibilities are Ripple, Neo or Eos.

Two years is enough time to make big changes to crypto. But I'm sure Bitcoin will still remain alone up there. If Ripple soon finds momentum, I think in two years it will become a giant. While Ethereum, although Altcoin is very desirable, but the level of liquidity to finance new projects is also very high, so the price range will not be very far from now.

I am going to predict that ethereum is going overtake bitcoin by 2020 due to its technological superiority over bitcoin. Bitcoin within a year has been shedding its market supremacy rapidly dropping from 55% of the overall share to around 34%.

Personally, I bet in favor of the next three - BTC, Ethereum and Litecoin. Bitcoin has every chance to become a very powerful coin with a huge potential for development in the market.

I am also a holder of ethereum and I bet a lot on ethereum at this cheap price. and I also invested partly on cardano ( ADA) because this is also potentially good for next years

With such long anticipation, I think it will be uncertain, now many experts have predicted at the end of this year but they probably will not grow and not be right, let alone guess the next two years .

In my opinion, top 3 coins in 2018 will be:

1. Ethereum.

I think in the first place will stand Cardano, in second EOS, and in third not yet created at the moment cryptocurrency.

I think it will be NEO or WANCHAIN or some of the protocol that offers interoperability. I really think that CARDANO will also be a major player in terms of protocols. During this days we cant really tell that, nobody really knows if someone just enter the protocol wars and become so powerful that ditches the other existing protocol.

Probably, BTC may not be the champion anymore but will still stand at runner-up position thanks to its historical role. ETH providing reliable platform for many valuable tokens can overthrow BTC to become the king. One of the coins with 3rd-generation blockchain like ADA or EOS will deserve the 3rd.

Your analyasis is quiete sound and i strongly agree with you.ETH is becoming more popular,many ICO are being launched on Ethereum platform.ETH adoption rate is increasing day by day.ETH community is getting strong on daily basis.It will take time for ETH to overthrow BTC however it will have some high value in 2020.ADA,EOS are another good coins,currently nascent and will take 2-3 yeas to be fully matured.

I think the best coin to hold uptil 2020 is going to be zcash. With all the VC partneships that they have and all the high tech development that is going on in zcash right now, although very unlikely but it could very well surpass bitcoin someday.

I have a contrary option my top 3 coins in the next 2 years will be  bitcoin etherum Neo or Eos network, they have a very innovative concept they are top coins.

Yes Bitcoin will stay in the top position but second and third will vary over time and this will be a tough battle between Tron-Eos and Ethereum. so by 2020, I think Eos will be in second position in Crytpocurrancy currency. Not hard to guess.

Hard to tell. After all, technologies are moving forward faster and faster, and I am sure that there will be more blockchains that will present new more promising assets than those that we have now. But if these do not appear (which I doubt) NEO, ETH and BTC will remain in their places
