I am trying to guess what will be the top 3 coins in 2 more year, say on 1st June, 2020.
Probably, BTC may not be the champion anymore but will still stand at runner-up position thanks to its historical role. ETH providing reliable platform for many valuable tokens can overthrow BTC to become the king. One of the coins with 3rd-generation blockchain like ADA or EOS will deserve the 3rd.
Anything can happen, and that's my prediction. What's yours?
I doubt ethereum will overtake bitcoin, so my list is as follows 1) Bitcoin 2) Ethereum 3) Cardano |

lol this thread is funny reading ''bitcoin wont be on top''  without bitcoin on top there wont be crypto , if bitcoin loses its position it would effect whole crypto hemisphere billions will be stashed out of crypto and we may see a capitalization of less than 50 billion making crypto industry worthless. Some people saying ripple at 1 are even more funny and probably dont understand the fundamentals of crypto, for starters money has always been flowing through bitcoin to alts even if you do an ico you dont raise funds in fiat you do either in bitcoin or ether. So to answer top 3 , i would go with 1 bitcoin , 2 ethereum and 3 can be any coin doesn't really matter the only place where you can find bitcoin not on top is some biased Chinese survey shilling their coins onto you |

Two years is a long time cryptocurrency wise. I would guess that Bitcoin would still be the undisputed king of crypto in 2020. Unless something horribly goes wrong with Bitcoin of course. For example, let’s say we have 10 forks (more segwits) and people just give up on the coin.

ETH will be the first one, Bitcoin is going to be second or third together with NEO I think, but Ripple has a potential too. But I hear more and more positives about NEO and people start to hear about it.

My best 3 coins in 2020 it would be Bitcoin(BTC),Ethereum(ETH) and Litecoin(LTC).
Bitcoin (BTC) can be all the more great coin that can develop and have gigantic potential in the market in the or even in the future.
Ethereum (ETH) can achieve most elevated cost constantly and in light of its security ETH would be development 100%
Litecoin (LTC) has more to offer as a result of its quick exchange speed and it can More +(Multiply) later on.

I'm assuming the OP was asking for top 3 based on Market Cap? I hope people realize how flawed it is to base crypto value on this metric, its very limiting. By the end of 2020 I'd expect XRP to be worth 100-300x its current value. Coil will result in new projects we can't imagine yet, Codius will allow XRP to penetrate the derivatives market which for some reason isn't getting the press it deserves all the while they will continue on boarding XCurrent customers and moving them over to XRapid. By the end of this year XRP will be completely decentralized, among the most secure, fastest and cheapest coins with excellent liquidity.
Where BTC is in 2+ years is completely dependent on how they address scalability issues. It won't be a store of value if it doesn't have utility.
Factom will be huge, whether in top 3 maybe not but its going to see massive gains.

I think, best 3 coins in 2020 would be Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. I think market will still be headed by Bitcoin, all coins finally converted to Bitcoin. ETH is growing very fast now and has solid transaction because at this time most of alt coins converted to ETH before to converting to BTC.
