A new thread was started primarily because my "legendary" account was compromised, immediately locked when I was notified and sadly unable to be recovered. I had that account for many years previous to joining the SpectreCoin [xspec] project and it was a terrible inconvenience for me personally. I can only wonder at what purpose someone had in their action other than hoping to derail what is a fantastic project.
A word to the wise.....protect your account.....there are some sick, hateful people in the world and sadly also here on BitCoinTalk.
I can confirm that @Beachguy2 is the new "beachguy" and part of the XSPEC Core Team and that we continue in the new thread

The advise to investors in cryptocurrency is firstly, Do not invest more than you can afford to loose and This is experimental software and the price can go up or down.
you wrote earlier that this branch is only for constructive conversations and you are writing now about a topic that has nothing to do with the project. I did not ask you for advice on how to spend my money and where and how much money to invest. I myself will deal with my money. And I will invest any amount wherever I want. but if you give me advice, then let me give you advice too. You made an ICO, copied the wallet of ShadowCash, collected the money, and with this money introduced TOR into the wallet just. when you did ICO, you could count how much money you need to collect to make a good project, and also to find a team of programmers in advance. I will not give a copy of my wallet.dat or link address in the blockchain because I can not confuse the traces, because the stealth address does not work and you can trace all my transactions in the blockchain, and I do not want it. You can check this error on your wallet yourself, if you change several different wallet.dat. I also see in Discord that you started looking for a programmer with knowledge of TOR few days ago. Also I see that you are communicating with a former developer who is a fraud in a discord. He took a lot of money and did nothing and you do not even ask him: ( https://youtu.be/9X_Ne3S5FAU) And yet your two-week newsletters do not reflect the real reality. So for example, it was written that you will improve the TOR function, although only few days ago began to look for a specialist for this function. If I did not ask, then you would not be looking for a TOR programmer.

I'm glad to see that project is alive and developing will continue. I was always sure that XSPEC would be the best of all anonymous coins. I hope that it will be like that. I closely watching for the development of the project. Good luck, team!

I'm very happy for you Bitman86 if make copies of wallet.dat and change the name, then no transactions are sent https://imgur.com/e9SDaSaYou say that you changed the name of wallet.dat ?. And so you want it to work ?, is it a joke? If we are presented (in person), then you know how Bitman86 is and I know how LuckySpectrecoin is. Then, it will not matter with what name we present ourselves, already we recognize the other, even with a changed name. This does not happen with a simple software program, if you change the name of a file, the program does not recognize the file, that's why the error message. walletBackup.dat or wallet01.dat or similar, will not work. When we return the "wallet.dat backup" again to its place, you must put the name wallet.dat to that file, again.
Thanks for comment.

Thanks for comment. do not think that around you people are idiots, and you're the smartest. Of course when I store these files separately, I change the file name: wallet01, wallet02, wallet03. And when I need to insert a file inside the program, I change to the original name wallet.dat

This is the right decision - to create a new thread. I really like this idea. I see potential in this. I'll probably end up scooping up some coins and joining the Discord to see how the community is.

I told you absolutely all the details before. All my coins were on the balance sheet and I did not make a transaction before. I made a transaction from public address to private address, and then immediately wanted to make a transaction from private to private. But if your support is limited to a charge in the FUD, then I accept your answer. If you refuse to help me here on this forum, then I too accept this. If your answer is the final, then I can not argue with you, since you are the leader of the project and your word is final. Also I have many questions, if you allow, then I will ask them, because the project is open and transparent. You said that one of the developers helps in the discord. Can you name him? I thought that now only one developer works is Ahmed Shbli. But I did not see such similar a name in the discord. Is there another developer? Who is it?

There are a few things here: 1. If you make a transaction from a public address to a private address (I assume you used the 'Balance Transfer' function, you need to wait 10 confirmations before using the anon inputs in another transaction. If you used any release older than about 1 week there would have been a JS bug in the GUI that we have now fixed that may have prevented you from sending a private transaction without setting the ring size manually. I will publish the next newsletter today / tomorrow and there will be a lot on anonymous transaction there. 2. If you have multiple copies of the same wallet.dat file and you use one and then try to use another all the balances may not update correctly and if you make an automatic transaction it may be that the wallet tried to use an output that was spent before and you will get the error message. It will be very difficult to offer an real help without all the details and maybe the debug.log file. 3. You can come to the Discord server totally anonymously if you want, just use a random e-mail address and use some random alias. You can get a random e-mail here: http://www.dispostable.com/ for example 4. We currently have three devs working actively on different aspects of the code and development, @Ahmed, @Mammix2 and @Tek Why don't you just connect with us on Discord as we can chat live and get stuff done. Here is slow and if you don't provide all the details we risk going around in circles. I have also raised and issue on GitHub to investigate that particular error and see exactly how it is generated. https://github.com/spectrecoin/spectre/issues/44EDIT: If you create a Discord alias and DM me, @Mandica#9367 (ID 384779540540424213) I will direct you to the right person to deal with your issue.

Mandica and the dev team continue to work and produce. One of the highlights of the above newsletter..... "We have added the very competent @Tek to the dev team so we now have 3 devs working on different aspects of the code. So, these are some of the things to look forward to:
Release of v1.4.1 w/ some significant updates Code audit and improvements to the anon transactions Improved GUI New website – 90% completed More detailed road map White paper New exchanges "But please take the time to read the entire news letter....great guide to using the client/wallet for anonymous transactions.

Awesome, guys! It's so pleasured to see that team are working and have progress and new achievements. Pity that I'm not a programmer, then I would like to join you. But if you need a community manager to social networks or something like this, keep me in mind. I'll join you with pleasure

Yes, excellent update and bi-weekly communication... It's very impressive the way the Devs have fought for this project the last 3 months... And at 3500-4000 sat XSPEC is on sale at Jan 2017 prices

Great news .I would wait till u get the stealth bugs all fix then a massive marketing campaign Is the way to go.It always been the weak point is the marketing .Maybe u should do the news report 1 every a month .Every 2 weeks is a bit much
Still kinda confusing maybe someone should do a youtube tutorial video. SO to do private transaction u have to go XSPEC to spectre spectre to a private address then to use those coins again convert then back to XSPEC .
Also is the new update mandatory ?i am still on a old wallet
