bitcoin is not an asset, as it does not create cash flows for its holders. it can be regarded as a commodity, and then only if it becomes an essential component of smart contracts.

Bitcoin is an asset for me motive it's so pricey like having gold. among the buyers now are involved to join in bitcoin. investing in bitcoin is like an asset in there life.greater viable investors will investigate the possible funding. Beside, Bitcoin surely is an asset, its handiest how you install your funding into the marketplace.its exact for quick time period and long term investment, it is just a be counted of taking care of your commercial enterprise funding.

This interminable inquiry regarding the bitcoin nature. What is Bitcoin? An ever increasing number of individuals see that the universe of customary back isn't great. Maybe BTC will be broadly perceived the world over, which will be reflected in the extensive exchanges volume. In this way, bitcoin can turn into a generally utilized Worldwide Computerized Cash. This is the best situation! However, to do this, it needs to wind up more steady against different monetary standards. National banks and governments must perceive bitcoin ,at that point it can rival fiat.

Yes it is a tangible thought that bitcoin currency is an asset, the best, because the asset in any form has value even in the long term, because the bitcoin currency asset has a value or you can have it for a long time , and the assets are capable of being sold, and bitcoins as currency that can be redeemed and converted into the eyes of each country.

In my own perception, bitcoin form as an asset. Also, bitcoin is used as an investment nowadays. What ever called in bitcoin whether it is an asset or currency the important is it gives an opportunity to gain good return once you keep it or hold. Nowadays people called bitcoin as an asset but mostly is currency. Every coin have a value is an asset and when you used it to buy or used as remmitances it called as currency. What ever you calle in bitcoin still it is a good investment or what ever.

I think bitcoin have two function as a currency and as an assets. But, in my preferences, bitcoin is more like assets. Because with bitcoin we can have a long term investment that can help us to increasing our income.

Bitcoin can be used as both currency and asset. If you hold it for long term it becomes asset, but if you hold it for short term to do transactions it becomes currency. It is similar to cash. For example - cash is treated as current assets (liquid) and it is currency itself as well.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Yes, It is true. I think bitcoin is an asset, and it's hard to call it currency.
Since the currency will be widely used, and bitcoin is hard to use on a large scale right now, I hope the lightning network can change everything. I believe It will happen soon.

Being able to invest in bitcoin is considered a big asset. Even bitcoin suffer from big deep, it will still recover since lots of people are still holding it. With this the economy of bitcoin will continuouly grow.

Nobody knows for sure how bitcoin is going to be used in the near future. Everyone has there own perspective of understanding it. Same happens with countries and there representatives. Some countries are quite vocal to support cryptocurrency like bitcoin while others are adamant to do so. I think bitcoin still has long way to go and prove itself that it can be used as a currency. I think if in next 5 years bitcoin can capture 2-3% of world's currency transaction, it will be huge for all of the crypto space. Relying heavily on bitcoin to do that. Let's see how it pans out.

Bitcoin is a currency and at the same time an assets in the sense that due to the volatile nature of bitcoin it tend to generate interest as the market keep growing. When we hold bitcoin for a long time it become an assets which has the ability to double or even triple the amount we invested on it.Bitcoin is a very supportive investment tool as an asset as well as the stock market.

Bitcoin has become a valuable asset. Not only that, it has the potential to bring in huge profits over any investment. It is only paper money that can not be grasped and looking directly it is only made through computer systems connected to the network.

If you own something and invest something that is profitable in the future, that is already an asset for me.Although bitcoin connected through computers only. The more coins you have, the more money you get.

I think bitcoin is an asset due to properties of bitcoins because it is so much volatile to not to be a currency.

At present, many countries have regarded cryptocurrencies as legitimate assets but do not recognize their currency attributes.
Many people just think of Bitcoin as a financial asset for speculation.
