We'll keep android client up to date.. better not give it to public before it is ready for the fork.
You're making an android client? I missed that. How cool is that, I draw my hat! Follow it here: http://forum.auroracoin.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=31

Do I need to update my wallet Yes. Because the network is decentralized every client (or the majority) needs to agree exactly on the reward, difficulty, retarget time etc for each block. Once block 5400 is mined, the updated clients will begin using the new parameters, and will ignore blocks generated by the old client.

All the pools and exchanges I am aware of have upgraded, except I have no idea of how to contact aur.pool-a.net.

Easy-mine responded to me and said the were "done". So I think they must have updated already.
Sure looks like it's okay, my balance has continued to go up without any problem. Thanks!

There is a small "error" with after installing the wallet. It writes NSIS Example2 in the registry for the uninstaller. Could correct that so that people know what to uninstall if they choose to uninstall the wallet. Still holding on to Auroras

I might change to mining something else, but I'm keeping these until around the 25th of March when the 50% premise is handed to the Icelanders. That will probably give this coin a huge, huge boost. Let's hope it starts getting used for real, that's the best case scenario. Worst case, it profits a bit from the attention and it's a good sell opportunity.

I think AUR is gonna be a big deal in the news pretty soon. I do have a suggestion: put a standardized specs description on your website and on the announcement page (algorithm, block rewards, etc.) in a concise format. Cheers!

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

I have to say, I just read the description of aurora coin. It's amazingly inspiring. And not only is it an opportunity for the people of Iceland, it's an opportunity for cryptocurrencies as a whole. If Auroracoin succeeds, Iceland will be the first country using cryptos as their main currency... wow
