Really interesting speach from the CEO of CCP (The company behind EVE Online) about the Icelandic krona and what (bad) effects it's had on the company. The speach is in Icelandic but at 25:10 he says this: Icelandic: Ég hélt að planið væri að ganga í Evrópusambandið og taka upp evru, það er eitthvað bakslag í því og nú á annaðhvort að taka upp danska krónu, kanadískan dollara eða Bitcoin? Ekki ætlum við að nota krónu? Er það? Er það planið?“ English: I though the plan was to join the European Union and start using the Euro coin, now there is a backslash in that plan and now were supposed start using the danish krona, Canadian dollar or Bitcoin? We arent going to use the Icelandic króna? Are we? Is that the plan? This is strange as the CCP pays its employees in Euro I know, hes talking about Iceland. What will Iceland use in the future as he has no belief in the Icelandic krona. He also mentions in the video that the EVE Online currency is named ISK. They named it that in memory of the Icelandic krona (ISK) as they never expected Iceland to hold on to it for this long.

The trouble with this discussion is that most participants can't see the difference between facts and assumptions.Let me demonstrate: fact 1: The coin is 50% pre minedI think we can all agree that this is indeed a fact. Now comes the transition: Assumtion 1 (By the opposers): It's a scam because, the coin is 50% pre minedAssumtion 1 (By the supporters): Dev is honest because he directly confessed the coin is 50% pre minedYou see what happens? The fact remains in place, but there has been put an addition to it. It's this addition that disqualifies the frase as a fact. Funny part is, you can use this neat trick also the other way around and turn an assumption into a fact, again a demonstration: Assumtion A: " BitcoinEXpress is the most genius member of this forum!" Again I think we can all agree that we could fill pages of discussions between supporters and opponents. Now we do our little trick: Fact A: " If all other members would leave, BitcoinEXpress is the most genius member of this forum!" So.... Lets try to keep this in mind next time when we waste valuable time on opposing each others "facts". Theres no shame if one disagrees, as long as we can agree to disagree agreeably!CHEERS Nicely said Sir!!! Totally agree! I just hope the dev sees the real impact he can make with this coin and do the airdrop successful! My offer to help him spread the coins still stands! I can travel to Iceland on my own money and help him! WHY? Because I want to be part of history! or you want to kidnap him ...

Over the past week we experienced some issues mainly caused by DDOS attacks towards our pool. The initial thought was to give up and close the pool down but that didn't seem fair to those who spent time and electricity to mine on our pool and for our initial commitment to the AuroraCoin project. While we reassessed the situation our main worry was to keep the miners able to withdraw their funds We therefore decided to re-build from scratch, ditch the old server, change mail provider, add stratum servers while still processing payouts. We are now back and with some improvements! Key features: 0.00001 TX fee Minimum payout: 0.0001 AUR 2 stratum servers (1 for US, 1 for EU) For problems you can contact us via PM here or using the contact us form on the pool. http://aur.pool.mineabit.com/

I think price will rise from normal demand also, volume on Mintpal already quadrupled since 24 hours ago, as people see prospect of profits in the coin again..
Also helped by vast majority of other altcoins tanking and the absolute abysmail performance of MAZA... guess a lot of people got burned on that one.
