So, I found a kennitala online, co-opted an old Facebook account and changed the info to match. I got past the first screens (clearly there's no safeguards to see if the person is located in Iceland or not), but the Facebook authentication failed. Interesting.

Try with a new kinnitala entry and Iceland proxy and see what happens, I'm interested to see how easy or difficult it is to pull off this fraud after so many have claimed it's simple just to see if they're full of shit or actually right for a change

I am blunt, don't like it ? Too bad

Most, if not all, free Iceland proxies are either down or are rejecting connections. hmm
Do you have one that works?

Curious why fb would fail after you changed the information.

Eligible FB accounts are already in the database, as I already said.
You can't change your nationality or make a new one anymore.

And what if legitimate citizens of Iceland only created a facebook today in order to receive the airdrop?

Nothing like a well thought out plan. Roll Eyes

They are likely to be adding more verification methods.

I don't know about kennitalia-number required connection or not, anyway, even if 10% of the airdrop is scammed away it would certainly be a success.

What would be bad is icelanders unable to claim their legitimate coins because of scammers using their kennitala.

I dont think ever. If you can abuse the claim system, that's the only way now. Just watch how many coins getting airdropped, its a joke...

That BTL is not cheap. It's priced at the same market cap as AUR.

yesterday. Definitely it was the catalyst, I don't know if it was directly the cause.

Yeah and because the hashrate in Bitcoin is increased by the factor of 5,006,860,589 so the blocks get solved 5,006,860,589 times faster than in the first year  Grin
