Dev you should modify thee page, none of the pools here is actually working and really it gives a bad look for the project, it is only about remove 2 lines and add the only actually working: http://riepool.ddns.net, too i would like if riecoin could have some dice site it can bring  some users and buy pressure

You're right, I updated the page. I didn't remove the others because they may be only temporarily down because of the DDOS attacks.

There may be others, but I know of a dice site (plus coinbomb and transparent Ponzi games) here: https://cryptap.us/ric/dice/

Thanks Dev for the add of RiePool to the list of pools!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi

Xpoolx is still alive, it is now a private pool only for trusted users until i set up a proxy redirect. If you want to continue mining at xpoolx send to infoxpoolx@gmail.com your user and your ip and you will be whitelisted to continue mining.

Thanks

We had a DDoS attack just two minutes ago but everything is back under control.

Please stay connected on RiePool, the only no fees!

Thank you all

How strange ... the DDoS attack had on my pool (stratum authentication requests) come from many IPs, all from China and surrounding areas....

Check blockchain now and you will see that in the last 24 hours "gpupool.com" solved the majority of the blocks and never had dossing problems..... and the miner of this pseudo-pool connects to a Chinese address.......

I would not blame anyone but the whole thing is quite clear ....

1. My miners connected to your pool, shares founds, but no active workers in dashboard.
2. Strage logging info on home page:

This is local IP, correct? WTF?

UPD. It's MPOS thing - workers not updates properly. But question about login from local IP stay alive

I made some improvements in the MPOS.
In order to test it please spread some miners on riepool.ddns.net:8000

Thank you and good mining!

here's nomp node.js pool server code for riecoin

https://github.com/rascal71/node-open-mining-portal

Merry xmas Riecoin!

Thanks, I'll take a look at it.
Would you like me to link to your pool from the OP and from the riecoin.org site, or is still beta?

Unfortunately pool is only temporary as server expires at the end of the month, so if you are mining on the pool please switch to one of the other pools before then, additionally new miners ip's need to be white listed now due to the nasty DDOS port flooding going on.

Otherwise pool works great, Riecoin can now be added to any existing standard NOMP pool, or as a little bit better replacement for the python stratum for MPOS.

Cheers

Gave a try at compiling but there seems to be some missing files, f.i. which bignum.h or uint1024 are required?

edit: I could hack something that compiles from the version at https://github.com/Nexusoft/PrimeSoloMiner no idea if that works though ^_^

Hmm, all the files are there. Just did a fresh git pull and it compiles without issue.

Code:
git clone https://github.com/rascal71/node-open-mining-portal.git nomp
cd nomp
npm update

Hello everyone! I have a little Christmas gift for all Riecoin miners Smiley

In recent weeks I have revisited the mining algorithm of Dave Andersen managed to improve performance by about 20-25%! (especially on Intel QuadCore CPUs)
I also have "cleaned" the logs and statistics.

This was obtained thanks to features on the values of Sieves and research of Sextuplets.
I'm testing the miner on the pool (RiePool) for a couple of days and it is working very well Smiley

Anyone who wanted to try it can download for Windows systems from http://riepool.ovh/downloads/New_Windows64_xptminer.zip
It will soon be available a version for Linux OS (I have to compile with the libraries included)

For execution: xptminer2 -u username.workername -p password (-t threads number)

Note: This version only works on RiePool (riepool.ovh)

Thank you all and happy holidays Smiley

Here's a new windows SOLO mining proxy!

http://www.megafileupload.com/ikL7/riecoin_mining_proxy.zip

It's a custom version of the python stratum server designed to run between xptminer and the daemon's getblocktemplate.
You need to at least provide user/pass and an address for payouts to the proxy, unless you want it all to go to me  Smiley
Then connect your miner(s) to the proxy with any username or password.
The standard donation is %0.5 and can be easily overridden for those that can't spare any extra.
Obviously there will be some doubt in a windows executable from a newbie like me, run it in a sandbox if you like.

Code:
C:\riecoin_mining_proxy>riecoin_mining_proxy.exe -h
usage: riecoin_mining_proxy.exe [-h] [-o RPC_HOST] [-r RPC_PORT] [-u RPC_USER]
                                [-p RPC_PASSWORD] [-s STRATUM_PORT]
                                [-a ADDRESS]
                                [--give-author DONATION_PERCENTAGE]

Stratum solo mining proxy for Riecoin

optional arguments:
-h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -o RPC_HOST, --host RPC_HOST
Hostname of riecoind RPC (default = 127.0.0.1)
  -r RPC_PORT, --rpc-port RPC_PORT
Port of riecoind RPC (default = 28332)
  -u RPC_USER, --user RPC_USER
                        riecoind RPC interface username
  -p RPC_PASSWORD, --password RPC_PASSWORD
                        riecoind RPC interface password
  -s STRATUM_PORT, --stratum-port STRATUM_PORT
port to listen for stratum miners (default = 3333)
  -a ADDRESS, --address ADDRESS
generate payouts to this riecoin address
  --give-author DONATION_PERCENTAGE
donate this percentage of work towards development of
the riecoin solo mining proxy (default = %0.5)

C:\riecoin_mining_proxy>riecoin_mining_proxy.exe -o 127.0.0.1 -u user -p pass -a RKC8bE13h9tPLUX6UpW3aQhqfVm23rGPJz

Code:
git clone https://github.com/rascal71/node-open-mining-portal.git nomp
cd nomp
npm update

Probably a Debian/Ubuntu issue then, the "npm update" fails because there is a hard-coded "node" reference somewhere (it is "nodejs" in Debian), I symlinked it after the fact, but npm probably messed up itself anyway. The adapted C files from PrimeSoloMiner do work though (found a couple blocks). Thanks!

Because of a migration of Server on a more powerful system, RiePool and mining will be interrupted for approximately 1 hour.

I remind you that the last optimized miner will be again available for download as soon as the entire infrastructure will be running at 100%

Thanks for waiting

How about some source code? I would that like more than mining at some pool exclusively which could be dDoSed any minute.
