If a cryptocurrency has the rising potential , keeping the crypto in the long term is a good way to make a lot of profit. But the fluctuations in the market make us suspicious and often we can not be patient.

I don't think there is the best option right now except hodling the tokens that we have, because we may be late to cut lose and will regret if the price goes up but the coins are gone. All the cryptocurrencies that can survive have risen many times, so only if you hold a good cryptocurrency, then in the future you will Can make huge profits. The more experience you have and the wider the insights you master, the smarter you play in your investment. If you have a coin with potency and skill that qualified, then it is worth to you hold it in a long time, especially with the current market situation.

If you are a bounty hunter is would be better to hold for short time, some even sell immediately the moment they get their tokens, but that isn't recommended because the value of your rewards may end up being less in a short amount of time.

It depends on the different coins you have that you wanna to hold, many cases you hold long term isn't smart. However, it is difficult to discuss right or wrong here because the market is always volatile.

it's up to you

Patience is key to success and if you have no patience you can not take excellent profits. So if you hold your invest for long term then you will definite take great profits.

Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?

I am so much in support of this investors' strategy of dumping tokens to cause a decline in token prices in order to pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. Very good Idea if you ask me as it gives you to accumulate more tokens of viable projects.

Selling or holding being smart depends on the project concerned. Both can be the smart thing to do to a token and it can be a woe on other.

Because in the long run you can optionally sell at high prices, and reasonable prices for you, not to lose. So I think the market will recover

It is very profitable to keep coins for a long time : if the product is successful, then after a while the coins will become more profitable. So it is a very smart strategy to keep coins and make profit more than now

If the crypto assets on hold in a long period of time has a great potential I think holding assets for long periods is the right choice. But if it is ico coins I did not dare to hold long term because it is very risky.

I would never hold based on time.  SO if you going to just hold everything for long term periods I would say this is not smart.  I would base my decisions on fundamentals.  Sell when the fundamentals change or the increase in price makes it a good deal to sell.

I think if the Altcoins that are held are not good then I make sure to just throw the altcoins.
Because it's useless for that and it only makes you sick.

You better hold Ethereum or Bitocin.

According to what I have observed in my personal experience, practically most of the tokens that are obtained through bounty campaigns tend to fall in price consistently and gradually once they are listed in exchanges, and very few of them have been able to recover a good price over time, so unfortunately it does not seem to be a good decision to hold the tokens obtained in bounties as a long-term investment.

If the coin has a growth potential - yes, the strategy is correct.
But if the project does not have a good team or idea - you can lose money

I think it's reasonable.  But you can sell it if you need to spend it.  This is a personal matter.  To study and analyze projects.  Cryptography is a big world, for this.

Hold if the coins you buy or invest have good prospects in the future. Need to learn if you want to hold a coin to get a big profit.

it is the smartest thing to do. the ones that make huge profits are always long term holders. just buy strong coins and forget them for a few years. i am sure you will make a good profit comparing with daily traders.

depends on the project. fundamentally no diff from stocks. only those with solid fundamentals last for long and outperform. many projects with huge bounty allocations have weak allocations.
