If we put all the evergreen-avatar-related marketing to the side, this project looks like either yet another
social network, or a
game.
Either way, it should be addictive enough to become popular. Not sure I see anything addictive here yet

And... The feature to "buy skills" sounds funny
. Skills cannot be bought in real life, you have to work/learn to get them. This makes this platform very role-playing-game-like.
The terms... they deserve a special note. This expression from the whitepaper - "The avatars follow and gossip with each other..."
