But there's no way to find out on who are these people, you can get a hint on who are spreading FUD with medias. Getting interviewed and give their statement about the falling of bitcoin. Once they have said that bitcoin is going to be dead, they are pushing people to sell. And when the price goes down, they will start buying it.

US government is looking into this issue as they know how the manipulation happening here in crypto and it deals billions of dollars,but i doubt that they have the capacity to make this possible and pays those involves in this illegal activities.

Yes I think that the whales are deliberately trying to bring down bitcoin price so that they could buy more cheaper coins.We could see red candles in the price chart which shows clearly that huge dump is going on.

I think the bitcoin price cannot be manipulate by others because the market is the only one that can manipulate the bitcoin price. Either the other people can help to manipulate it, in just using bitcoin. The demand of bitcoin is the one of the problem of bitcoin. I think if the demand of bitcoin increase also the bitcoin price increase.

Seeing the enormous growth of 2017 correction was inevitable and that's what crypto market is undergoing right now. Up and downs are normal, there is no market that only goes in the upward direction.
BTC is decentralized and distributed currency and cannot be controlled by few individuals, but over the period of time we have Whales in BTC that have the major chunk of BTC and they have the capacity to manipulate the market up to some extent.

Maybe this term is not correct I prefer to use words such as "Bumping price" because of the following:

 1. Lots of positive news: All the news spoke positively about the Bitcoin, and the continuous rise in the price enticed many to enter this market without thinking.
 2. Rapid price inflation: The price has kept the curve up for extended periods "a year."
 3. Hard forks and free money: The free money from the Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash has increased the price of bitcoin

1- some big evil whale who simply clicks a button and price moves in his desired direction
