I think we can find a sponsor as this is the most crowded pool of the forum. I've put some money on the side for the PL pool. It's made me surprised that there is a chance for it not to be created for this season.

Jeremy is negotiating, I hope he announces it soon, there are still a few weeks to complete, so there is no need to rush, just save the funds, the Premier league pool I am sure there will be sponsors.

He came out from the Blue, he wasn't part of his plan and there's literally no space for him at the moment - the best for him and the club would be a loan move to a PL club.. Forcing him on Alonso would be dangerous and may throw the club off balance more than it is already.

Barcola going to Liverpool, is that really a good replacement for Salah? Do they really need to a RW? I feel like they just need a good front and defenders. At least it is clear there,,, unlike Spurs who needs a good everything

Araujo is a strange one, he has been captain at Barca but fell out of favour with Flick. He is fast and aggressive so maybe the PL suits him. It’s another body at the back so I am OK with it.

He's also injured more often than not - so I doubt he's the guy we need.
We sure as hell need a starting CB, and we need one before the start of the season.

Liverpool got a good deal for him, the best they can find without actually spending much, the current deal is a loan, with Liverpool covering salary, and option to buy for 50m+, but not mandatory from what I've read. I doubt Liverpool would exercise the option to buy, come the end of the season. What I found more is strange for is why Liverpool never made any attempt to nab one of the various CBs transfers flying around within the PL, Senesi for instance was a free agent to Tottenham, and he would have preferred Liverpool if the opportunity had presented itself, I believe.

Not to mention that we don't have anyone to play RW now that Salah is gone and that we're a body short in a CM role as well.

I want to believe the RW is the primary position intended for Barcola, that's the only way to make sense out of Liverpool's insistence on getting the deal over the line, Barcola to me is a quick and decisive guy with taking on defenders and creating spaces, but not so much with his poor finishing.

Chelsea's mistake for this player is that they expect too much with a price of 100 million and a long-term contract that doesn't make sense for a mediocre player, so surely he will remain at Chelsea even though later it may be on loan.

For Liverpool it's a little difficult because they really want Araujo now and it will get more dizzy Iraola if added Mudryk but this Arsenal can be considered, your club has sold a lot of players to Arsenal and now (can be next season) let Mudryk bought Arsenal.

I want to believe the RW is the primary position intended for Barcola, that's the only way to make sense out of Liverpool's insistence on getting the deal over the line, Barcola to me is a quick and decisive guy with taking on defenders and creating spaces, but not so much with his poor finishing.

I myself was surprised to get that guy for Spurs,,, IIRC Liverpool actually tried a few times to get PL CBs and always failed, so maybe some players prefer a different kind of stress. As in, if you play for Spurs, European qualification is a success but if you play for Liverpool, failure to win trophy is bad, and then you have to play next to Van Dijk?

No, we'd keep looking until we find our next "Conte" or "Tuchel" who wouldn't have to take forever before competing for titles - is that possible? Yes, we have seen it with Conte and Tuchel.

Mudryk is beyond average and was never worth what we got him for.- I don't see how he fits into the system

It sucks for me that Liverpool are leading the race for Barcola and we are not even in it. Does not make any sense when you consider how much it looked like we wanted Vini at a time. If the club considered the LW to be such a hole to fix, whg focus on a deal that looked unlikely from the start? A young player like Barcola will be great for us and not risk disrupting the dressing room. Now it looks like nothing is happening in the market for that position .

Bruno was a good addition even for the fee. Zubi was good last season but cost us some points and did not have the fight in some matches.  Bruno allows us rotate players around with so many matches being played and offers more going forward.

City pursuing Enzo again, already preparing for the exit of Rodri. This will be a good sequence of events, weakening 2 of the top 6 in one go

Still one of my favourite players of that era, when we used to bring out the best, before seeing them go for greener pastures.

Enzo Chelsea will be ploughed again by Enzo City... Manchester City are rumoured to want the player but Chelsea are targeting £120 million, I don't know how this deal is a high price, for me it doesn't matter as long as Maresca likes him. Lol

Enzo + Enzo has a strong cemistry, so they want to reunite at a new club, this is just a rumor, need to know City are sometimes too serious.

The City is doing what it does best - spending money. Anderson, bought for 135 million, could be joined by Fernandes for 135 and Bouaddi for 125. 100 million is really just the old 10 million. For the sake of interest, I'll have to check how many transfers were made for 100+ after the transfer window closes. It seems like right now that's a completely ordinary sum, and I only learn about some players who are sold for that much when I read the news. I hope that if City succeeds with all these transfers, the result will be the same as Liverpool's when they spent half a billion
