My wallet will not open.

I notice that the windows wallet says Windows 32 and I have windows 64 -- is that the issue?

I am not an expert (to say the least!) on these crypto-currencies, bit I have downloaded two other wallets for coins in the past and didn't have this problem.

Is anyone else having this problem and what am I doing wrong?

Windows64 generally runs both 64 and 32 bit applications without a problem. For my wallet, I chose to go with the zip file rather than the installer - unzip the folder someplace that will be easy to access, copy DuckDuckCoin.conf to %appdata%\DuckDuckCoin and then launch duckduckcoin-qt.exe.

No problems here - synced right up.

Thanks mainduck. I want to confirm that I have received my DUCK from the IPO. Thank you DuckDuckCoin developers!

Bullshit!!    We need complete list of  specs and the daemon fixed to show nethashrate.    Are  you talking to your imaginary friends - because I haven't gotten any response from the DuckDuckCoin devs yet.

Mining road needs to get there shit together and pay people

The DuckDuckCoin devs need to get their shit together.   The half-ass list of specs is causing pool operators to set up pools with the wrong specs causing payout issues.

I send pm to the devs and haven't heard a response yet.

We need the following
1.  Daemon to report network hashrate
2. How many network block and transactions confirmations does this coin require.

Check us out at https://duck.cryptoculture.net

other pools are paying out why can't mining road pay out hope they are not looking to steal other people's coins

Explanation or contrived excuse?  I would say you can't polish a turd, but mythbusters busted that.

I am sure you are not concerned...don't look behind the curtain.

And I have asked mainduck direct very important questions that have yet to be answered.  This will be yet another because we know any answer given will make no sense at all unless the answer is to prevent transparency.

It takes more that doing "it work" for a living to create a meme. It has to be funny... and you're a long way off with your first attempt.

No problems here - synced right up.

What I had done was go to the duckduckcoin website and hit the windows button. What I should have done is hit the link for the windows qt instead that is not on the website, but among the links on the first page of the forum. From there, I tried the "DuckDuckSetup.exe" link instead of the zip file.  (the zip file is what is on the website). Anyway, that worked quickly and easily.

I just wanted to let you know, but mostly I wanted to thank you for trying to help!

My coins are still there, but the site keeps logging me out and taking a few tries to log in. I just want to get the coins I have mined.

alright i fixed it, pretty simple. Just move the duckduckcoin.conf file from the main duckduckcoin folder to the appdata/roaming.... duckduckcoin folder

or just create a new one if u can't find it.

and make sure the conf file contents look like this:

addnode=69.90.132.182
addnode=69.90.132.181
addnode=69.90.132.64
addnode=162.213.254.217:12121
addnode=100.1.82.147:12121
addnode=66.172.11.82:12121
addnode=107.170.37.158:12121
addnode=69.90.132.64:12121
addnode=23.227.161.68:12121

connects really fast after that.
