SECURITY UPDATE

The OSX and Linux wallets have been linked with the 1.0.0 versions of OpenSSL all this time. This is not a problem and means the Linux and OSX wallets are not vulnerable to the security vulnerability. If you have been using the Linux or Mac wallets, then there is no need to upgrade, and no new wallets will be uploaded.

As for the Windows wallet, I do not maintain that so I do not know. Please wait for more news.

HashAxe is operating but I can not guarantee that the SSL security has not been compromised. I'm looking into replacing the certificates and will do so when I learn the proper way, as I've never needed to revoke a certificate before. I have already updated OpenSSL on the server.

Thanks.

The windows wallet uses OpenSSL 1.0.1e (vulnerable).
I will do a recompile with 1.0.1g within the next few hours. cancercoin4cure will let you know when the updated wallet is ready for download.

Just wondering if you completed the recompile.  I have done it as well if not.

Thanks for the recompiled wallet. Bored also have recompiled it but I was not able to get it uploaded to the website due to technical difficulties with the website. I will post your link in the main thread for now until we can get the website updated.

Make sure your wallets are updated to the new version:

Windows wallet

You can use this link or the one at the main thread. Please do not use the link on the website until further notice.

Linux and OSX wallets do not need to be updated.

I believe you came to the wrong thread. Perhaps you meant to post in the H20 thread? Its getting kind of confusing as other coins are starting to name themselves CharityCoin as well Roll Eyes.
Anyway, if you were meant to be mining CHA try either Hashaxe, Poolerino, Westlist, Forkpool or Charity mining. Links are in the first page.

we decided to rename and restructure this coin. Many people suggested that we broad its horizons by not only target Cancer Research but many other causes

Why are you only targeting charities?? Imagine you could make this coin a real currency for any thing you could imagine, wouldnt that be amazing?? You could fund all kind of things like Dogecoin is doing... Man that would be great! Rename it to Bitcoin2plus, NOW!  Wink
