Who can overthrow bitcoin?
I think from first to last no one can overthrow bitcoin, bitcoin is a symbol or parent of all coins so it is impossible if bitcoin can be rolled.

Many people predict that Ethereum will be the coin that beat Bitcoin. But look at Ethereum right now, even the situation is worse than Bitcoin. In crypto all can happen, and the possibility in the future will be created a coin that is really almost perfect. But if you look at the current situation, I think Bitcoin will be up there for a very long time.

In my own opinion Bitcoin is likely going to be the most highest valued blockchain for this generation. Things can always change, but Bitcoin has an important role in the blockchain community and will not easily be overtaken by newer blockchains.Bitcoin has a diverse set of miners, developers and community members who feverishly support the technology.BTC is heavily invested and supported by the community, and has been growing for almost a decade. This sort of support is not built easily and does not go away easily.

in my mind, if that is not possible because I know that nowadays many people are investing in Bitcoin in the long run and waiting for Bitcoin prices to return because a few months ago bitcoin prices have decreased and until now the price is still stable but I think if Cryptocurrency is Real free currency, it is the future.

There are a lot of rumor right now while the value of bitcoin is decreasing that is can be potentially be overthrown. i know for a fact the bitcoins technology is kind of outdated compared to the new ones coming out of the market, but the coins value is so high right now and is also wildly known because of this popularity bitcoin invites new investors in the platform.I think ETH would be the toughest contender in overthrowing the coin perhaps it also has grown popularity over the couple of years of its existence and is also continuing to grow.

Can bitcoin can be potentially overthrown by other coins? what are you thoughts? and what coins do you think can out run bitcoin?

in my opinion it can not be because the parent bitcoin of all altcoin and bitcoin is also the first altcoin in the world and thus I am sure Bitcoin will not be possible in rolling let alone Bitcoin has a good popularity and much in recognition by people because of the good coins and can be profitable by investing in the long-term

No coin can overthrown bitcoin. Trust me. No one can ever replace bitcoin because bitcoin is the origin of the currency and its hard for other coin to dethrone bitcoin.
seeing so strong Bitcoin makes the Bitcoin position so difficult to overthrow. so it takes a great effort to bring down Bitcoin and replace its position as the best coin with such an increasing development. so it would be great to have such a powerful Bitcoin.

the system of the bitcoin thus many adopted by the crypto that appeared at this time. If you want to overthrow bitcoin certainly a difficult thing because bitcoin is a reference for other cryptos. overthrow the bitcoin equal to undermine the stability of the market. so it is not possible to overthrown bitcoin.

I don’t think so. It has enough strength, characteristics and influence to be overthrown, BTC is the base of market. So crypto depends on BTC so much.

It is possible that btc is overthrown someday and I believe it's quite likely in the long run (4-7 years). I think it will slowly loose dominance as more alt fiat pairs are created before being overtaken.

Not sure if that would really happen some days. BTC is really doing wonder even when it seems to be coming down in value but dragging Altcoins along with it.

great product can be immortal. I think it is only a matter of time before BTC is overthrown. It may take five years, or 10 or 100 years. This is all possible.

There is no need for someone to overthrow bitcoin. Overthrow him, then what will be the difficulty in overthrowing the rest? It holds most of the market. And all will go to the stock market and leave it to die.

The foundation of the building must be the strongest, I remain convinced that bitcoin is still the strongest and the basis of the appearance of an altcoin.

Well, I see that bitcoin is losing its market share among others, such as ether and lightcoin. Now bitcoin occupies 59.4% of the world's crypto-currency market, not as in the beginning. But this is purely my opinion

I think that it can. Remember the beginning of the Internet? Nothing was as unstable and unpredictable as the future of large IT companies, and Yahoo is a good example. There are cryptos that provide much more functionality; I'm surprised that ETH has not yet become a cryptocurrency No. 1.

like any other technology out there bitcoin will also be someday obsolete and will be replaced by something new. but talking about that NOW is the dumbest thing that anybody can do. bitcoin is the newest technology in this field and it is by far the best option out there. in comparison altcoins look like shitcoins which is why we call them that!

the problem with people these days is that they think just because some useless shitcoin like ethereum got pumped that means it is competing with bitcoin Cheesy
but if you start looking beyond your nose you can see that a whale is filling his pocket with money to invest in bitcoin... that is how absurd things are in the altcoin market.

I dont think so. Bitcoin is the foundation  of this market so why you want to see it being thrown away from its own habitat? You think of your own coin that can compete against bitcoin but you are going far beyond thinking and you all want to kick bitcoin. The market will collapse of you are pushing bitcoin away from its ecosystem.

Rightfully mate, bitcoin cannot be replaced by the coins circulating in the market, yes ethereum is a good coin with a good platform but this is not enough tl break what bitclin stablished over the years of existence,if this thing would possibly happen this is not the right time,in future or maybe five to ten years from now, well no one really know
Bitcoin is the center stage of the crypto ecosystem and it's hard to beat this out by just asking that there's a potential altcoin that can replace it.

Everyone must be optimistic about bitcoin, you have never read about it being the starter of this market. It's impossible that it will be overthrown by any altcoin that you bet out there.
But remember the banker said that bitcoin is not enough scalable to be used as payment system (similar to the money) That means bitcoin becomes a good thing to store our value and to be used as non regular transaction in our daily life. I just try talk about the fact about bitcoin.

Can it be overthrown? Yes.

Will it happen anytime soon... doubtful. There is a greater chance once the markets decouple from
btc (slowly occuring now), but that will take time. And even then, perhaps btc remains on top
due to name recognition/lightning network and so on.

I don't think that right now somebody or some country has enough power to the overthrown the Bitcoin, because if they do I think they would already done that long time ago.

It is ridiculous to think like that. Bitcoin cannot be overthrown. The time is a bit unfavourable but it will soon be at the peak. I believe in that and am pretty hopeful.
