I'm doing another try with Scan Time = 1 & Expiry = 60.

When I look at the stats collected by CGRemote, for the last 2.5 hours I get

Getworks 1658
Accepted 118
Rejected 2
Discarded 3101
Stale 9

What the Discarded mean? I'm pretty good to find answers to my questions on Google but no luck this time.  Sad

As additional infos, here some others stats:

I think discarded shares are those that are not submitted by CG Miner due to a new block.

Your profitability is pegged against litecoin - Is it the most profitable single coin out there?

I did a quick compare to Doge here : http://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/miningtobtc-ltc-doge.html because Doge was brought up earlier in discussion.  Seems that as Doge seems to be a bit stronger than LiteCoin it may be a better benchmark for comparison.

I realize you can't cater to every coin, but perhaps put a couple other 'big' ones on there and it could help sell your site better?

Doge is a joke coin. Because of auto-switching pools raping the high-value blocks, the real profit from mining doge is much smaller then the projected income.  Suffice to say, if you want to mine scrypt, you compare against the stable, highest hashrate, and non-retarded standard LTC.

Interesting, thanks for the perspective.

Just to add, I am using --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1. --expiry 1 is the only thing that isnt intuitive to me, I wasn't running it but I read it somewhere it was good for multipools. The other stats makes sense if you read the cgminer readme

according to my user page (http://www.clevermining.com/users/1KkfPxwQTsTawfuFgPxn78DuVvdJUxpcvv) I'm getting a fairly high amount of rejects... - any suggestions on how to tune this? My scantime is low like 5 or 10, expiry as well, queue is 0

any suggestions?

Same here, I've gone back to Middlecoin for now I tried a range of combinations e.g.

expiry: 1
queue: 5
scantime: 1

expiry: 15
queue: 1
scantime: 15

expiry: 1
queue: 0
scantime: 1

Which seemed to be common combos from my searching, but still didn't help much if not made things worse.

Couple of things. You should change the word "profits" on your site to "payout". You should also only include total paid out btc in the profitability statistics / info section. Including the unpaid balance isn't useful. I'd like to see the numbers only including the actual paid amounts.

Switch vardiff back on or set default to at least 256 difficulty please, I'm having to switch to other pools since it's too hard for my weak card to work.

when is vardiff going back on? this should help with the rejects if its working properly?? i hovering at 9% rejects atm needs a gd run tho to see what its going to be like internet only just gone back on. problems at the exchange. trying to keep intensity 17 on the 7950 18 seems alot of rejects for litte more hash rate and 19 on 290s else the hash rate drops to much.

How accurate is the results and stats page? I have checked my rigs and double checked my hash rate on each. I am sending 5.5MHS and I only see 4.6HMS on the info page. I have given it several hours to update with no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks

I have 14% rejects, I will probably just put one rig on for now until this is sorted.

Sorry for that, we switched to a too small coin for 15 minutes and new blocks were mined too fast. This is fixed and we switched back to more reasonable coins.

switched back to middle coin for time being due to low rejects and they pay out for stales and was getting alot on here. Also can run the cards at higher intesitys on there as well. Will be keeping an eye on here for when its all sorted but atm i in it for the profits. Support is great here and website is gd. keep up good work and will be checking daily to see when its all working properly.

Something I forgot to say.
My tiny-miner, a GeForce GTX 465 running part-time on my main computer is doing very well on CleverMining. Only 2% reject. I don't know if it's because I run CudaMiner (config: -i 1 -l F22x8 -C 1) or because the low hashrate (137 Kh/s) but I get the same performance as I get on any other pool.
