All good afternoon. Guys, I correctly understand that Codex will be maximally decentralized?

Hello. Yes you are right. One of the basic ideas and goals of the Code is the creation of a decentralized register of works of art and antiquities.

Well, this system will be achieved thanks to oracles, I understand it correctly? By oracles, I mean competent independent people who will evaluate, etc.

That's right. Thus, Codex will absorb all the best from the system of centralized systems and at the same time it implements it in a decentralized system, thereby ensuring security.

Oh, I really like this idea. A good approach is to take from the two systems all the best and unite it in one place.

Yes, but the cool thing is that this system will constantly grow and develop, thereby improving itself.

I really hope that the team that develops the Codex protocol will bring even more innovations and make this project the most advanced.

I think that will happen. The blockchain system does not stand still and is constantly being improved, and thanks to it we will see many more good solutions.

"With Codex partner Luxury Asset Capital, a leader in the online alternative lending market, one can receive a one-click quote for an asset-backed loan and a lien will be registered on the Codex Record which custodians and future buyers can verify."

Make sure that you read this interview where Coinvision discusses Codex Protocol in depth with the project CEO, Mark Lurie

I want to know what about newbies?
I have to buy tokens to become a part of ecosystem, right?
Will there be an option of using fiat?

Hey!  Smiley The Codex CEO Mark Laurie was actually talking about it in the AMA.

"I would actually say that Codex has many competitors. This is a really great use-case for blockchain and has really big benefits for the industry. We are unique because we have an adoption. Codex has agreements that give it support from and access to thousands of auction houses that sell 10 million items annually for over $6 Billion."

Hello! Totally agree with you. This project, in my opinion, is comparable to maximally modernize a rather conservative antiques market.

Why do you think the antiques market is conservative. Auction houses in the past and now are very different. Modern technology and got here in any way.

The team doesn't comment on exchanges at this time (so also no announcements yet regarding CODX being listed on a fiat-paired exchange). If you were to participate in the tokensale you can use ETH to buy, but no fiat.

Well, I work in an antique store and it's old-fashioned enough. Perhaps these are just stereotypes. I do not argue. In any case, the Codex is a step towards modernization of the industry.

Well, maybe you're right. Personally, I'm worried about this: how can I not be afraid of fakes when buying a product on the platform? What will be done for this?

I think every product will be accompanied by a certificate that it is a script. At least I so see it. By the way, what brought you here?

With Codex Viewer, as a 'common' user, you'll be able to add, edit and transfer Codex Records. You can make them public or let them stay private. With Biddable, you'll be able to bid on and purchase Art & Collectibles in a smooth way (and privately!). I recommend checking out Ch. 06 from the whitepaper - page 20 and onwards: https://docsend.com/view/n4sbws8

I'm just an investor who is interested in this project. I recently started working with crypto-currencies, so I do not know much about them. Here I am studying the information on this project.

Clear. I was interested in this project on the tip of friends-collectors. They are very interested in the subject matter of the Code, but they do not understand the crypto-currencies and everything that is associated with them. I plan to invest in it Smiley

Can you tell us a short story about codex - what was your inspiration for creating?
I mean something other than increasing popularity of blockchain - something personal maybe...

I like the feature of hiding records. Does that mean that I can hide all items and shares I own from everybody?
