Who are you partnered with? Please explain how this "revolutionary service" works and why we shouldn't just invest in this company that offers the "revolutionary service" instead of PrivatePay.

Who will be issuing the debit cards?  We know from other projects they can't be Visa/MC cards because they roadblock crypto transactions on their network. Hence all the issues with Litepay and TenX

I am assured that the premine will not affect miners rewards, and as soon as I see any kind of manipulation on price (whether it be through the dumping of the premine or other malpractice) I, like the majority of other members of this community will simply down-tools and move onto another coin.

to make this work, the devs are going to need to be patient with that premine and allow miners to build the network.

At the end of the day, if the price crashes due to the dumping of the premine, the network will stop with no miners and the coin will die. Look at the recent LitecoinCash thing... the devs hadn't a clue how to launch, nor sustain a viable cryptocurrency.

I'm not the kind of person to give second chances, so this development team, for me, need to get this right, first time, or i'm out.

First of all, it's not "all of a sudden" at all. Any somewhat serious investor wants to know what they are investing in, it's a pretty simple concept don't you think?

Second of all, yes, Bitcoin had a paper published, and in fact, it was before the genesis block. Not that it's significantly relevant at all, but Nakamoto explained his vision long before it was live.

The reason why the identity of these people is essential is because they talk about becoming a legal entity and are planning on creating FIAT gateways and debit cards. How is that even remotely similar to BTC? You are talking about apples and oranges here. No one wants to invest money in empty talks. You do realize there are over a thousand currencies of which most have a similar story to sell to the potential miners or investors, right? Differentiating legitimate from non-legitimate projects is quite hard when you have a sample size of nearly 2k currencies. Therefore, you better deliver a neatly crafted plan with a damn solid theory behind it, or else you're the same as any other shitcoin that promises HUR THE MOON DURR.

And, lastly, YOU judge them on whether they deliver their promises, I won't. Do you want to know why? Because, by the time you realize they have been feeding you with buzzwords and empty promises it will be already too late because you've invested both money and electricity in case you're mining it. I'm not looking to lose months of mining and buying a particular currency and base my calculations on the promises of the dev team that is anonymous and no one knows their coding skills, background, experience with cryptography, etc. All we know is that they know how to fork a coin on github.

What I'm saying is that you (as a coin developer) have to persuade serious investors with a solidly constructed project, not with a dream. As of now, there's nothing innovative about XPP whatsoever.

Very low coin price is keeping developers from getting away with money. 50k usd(what developers hold) won't make you rich and it's impossible to dump 1.84m coins without significant drop in value, so you're looking at 10-20k usd getaway money. This project has most certainly burned more than this so far If the project shows any real value soon, it's going to make an easy 10-15x jump in price short term.

Premine is starting to look really bad since there was a large number of scam projects. But I don't see a lot of other models how you can actually hold an "equity" in the project you're building besides premine or some other coin distribution (like % of block reward). I'm 100% ok with it since this is not a community coin

Well the xpp team just released a video of the pre-mine in the wallet that is still intact and not spent, so finally i can start to calm down on this project and enjoy what they are going to release next high hopes for this project now

A video proves nothing, in fact that just reenforces my belief it's a scam.  For one thing it would take five minutes to create a fake wallet to show just this.  Why didn't they do a show_transfers command, at least make it a little more believable (not that they couldn't be faked as well but at least it would be a lot more work).

Post the wallet view key so we can verify real-time.  You can always move the balance to a new wallet if you don't want the view key out there forever.

Hi, the first point was to show the community the premine, the viewkey is basically useless and will not show "spent". We will do this again next week with show_transfers.

The devs have been in time with every anouncment up to now and seem to be very hard working . I see the devs not being on social media a lot as a good thing because they already said that they are finalising things with the provider of the debit cards and working through security so make this happen . They launched mainnet on time on the 30th of last month with no problems . If you check announcments on discord they are active and set to test debit card functions with selected community members on the 7th of this month .
Obviously some call every project a scam its a hobby for them lol . They already said they will reveal also .
Given this is just over .5 cents now with a max supply of 18.4 million its safu to say #ihaveabag
