Have you checked you have the Frycoin.conf in the .frycoin folder under home folder? Try renaming it frycoin.conf or Frycoin.conf - Ubuntu is case sensitive in some cases, also add the extra nodes on the first post.

Put this on frycoin.conf and the file should be located here: C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Frycoin

Yep, tried both variations and putting the extra nodes in.  I thought it may be something funky going on with my router, but it does the same with my mobile connection too.  Also tried it in Windows (with the extra nodes) and it's the same.

I guess I'm just cursed!  I've not had this occur with any other coin's clients.

Thanks for replying though - will just have to hold them in the pool for the meantime.
