What is the error message you are receiving? I'll do some research and get back to you.

Have you tried compiling the client yourself?

It simply doesn't launch—no error messages, no information. It starts to expand on the Dock but vanishes after a split second.

I suppose now is as good a time as any to learn how to compile my own. I'll report back when I do.

Sounds like something got messed up in your %appdata% folder under frycoin or under home on linux .frycoin, go into that folder and delete everything but wallet.dat and frycoin.conf and then reopen the program and let it sync the blocks again.

I also lost 4 * 300fry block when i updated the wallet, before the blocks was just unconfirmed and after update they disappeared until now  I just sync. my wallet again but they dont show up in the wallet.

DEV what is to do now?

I suggest you try this as well, it will re-download everything correctly.

I did that, after sync and load the chain new,  the 4 missing blocks dont show up again- I think they are lost, cause when I updated wallet they were all unonfirmed and the block I found after I lost the others is fully confirmed. shit happens. but I dont understand where these FRY s are now

Wallet information for Windows 7 Pro:

The .conf file needs to be in the %appdata% folder. There are two ways to get it there:

Start -> Search for %appdata% (type it exactly like this and press enter), open the Frycoin folder and paste the config.conf file there

or

Browse to the location directly (if hidden folders are visible): C:\Users\[computer_name]\AppData\Roaming\Frycoin

The contents of my config file are exactly this:

On top of what has been posted about WHERE the conf file goes... I know in the past some users did not realize they were in fact making a XXXcoin.conf.txt file.

By default, Win 7 in all flavors comes with a setting enabled that hides known file extensions. So, when you create a new text document by right clicking, selecting new and then selecting Text file, the name you type in is actually going to have .txt appended automatically.

To fix this, click the Start menu and simply start typing the term FILE EXT and you should see the results show one option labeled Show or hide file extensions. Clicking takes you into Folder Properties where you can uncheck this option. It is called Hide extensions for known file types... uncheck this and apply/OK and then look at your appdata/roaming/frycoin folder and you will see frycoin.conf.txt. Delete the .txt portion and then relaunch your frycoin client.

This coin currently has a market cap of $8700US. 8700!!!! For it to have a market cap of junkcoin.... Which is not ambitious at all, even with twice the number of coins than is currently up to, it will have a value roughly 10-15x of current. If it goes to say copperlark or ixcoins level, roughly 50x. If it catches hold and goes really crazy... Wow.

You would either be mad or stupid to sell at 200 satoshi and below. This is probably the smartest buy and most undervalued coin on this forum right now. If you disagree please feel free to sell them to me at cryptorush.

I really hope this coin has a long term value. Not like the shady Dev from rapid coin who left the
thread alone after he sold his 1%premine 1 or 2 days after the coin was born....hope here for more

Lets hope the DEV is not from the sam Dumper crew like the rapidcoin guy. Seems a lot very similar. He also
wouldn`t spend the pre mine for pormotion cause he made the dump within 48h. This coin was in the same time after
the coin was born on cryptorush --> you see what happend to the price. Every coin shoul wait at least one or two weeks before hit an
exchange. Now the price is dumped and no miners around.
