Obfuscode pool has their own SSL certificate, so you might get a warning in you browser. They explained it to me:

Quote
Obfuscode.net uses a self-signed SSL certificate to secure the traffic for it's users.

This self-signed certificate is not trusted by your browser by default. This means, that your browser will show you a warning page when you attempt to register or login.

This warning is legitimate as your browser doesn't know our certificate yet and it will return as long as you don't tell the browser about it. Our certificate is secure and we use it to protect your data and your money!

We created the certificate ourselves, because we wanted to ensure a decent key-length and pre-randomization; we now use a 4096 bit SSL certificate with the fingerprints below.

Code:

SHA256:
23 DB B4 30 0E 82 30 65 C2 5E 59 93 33 A4 1E 5E 67 1B B5 0C 6D 77 BC DF DD 90 34 45 D5 16 63 18

SHA1:
C6 35 0A E7 AA AE 74 1B A6 96 29 A2 45 19 E1 11 9A AA 6B C0

If you dislike the warning please add our certificate to your browsers storage or define a security exception. In case you need to download our certificate you can find it here.

Please note that current Internet Explorer versions don't support our certificates degree of security, please use an alternative browser.

Re: SSL

Usually when we link the page, we link the Non-SSL version because there's a banner underneath the 'Quick-News' section that contains the same text like Frycoin pasted.

We're sadly unable to find a SSL provider that supports our desired level of encryption. 1024 Bit SSL has been called obsolete for the last couple of years now.

Yet most websites and registrars still use 1024 Bit SSL Certificates and Root-CAs which we consider as a 'joke' in times of computing clusters/clouds.

But we know that the big browser-warning page is not helpful when it comes to find new users. We have it on our agenda to find a long-term solution without exposing our users to any 'false'-security.

Until then we're stuck with the warning page and a user has to actively 'trust' our certificate.

If there are any concerns about the genuineness of the certificate, here is the link to it: http://www.obfuscode.net/server.crt

...

Why do you have your own SSL? To save money?

Yes and No. SSL-certs are overpriced, this is nothing new, and we are willing to pay for decent security.

However, a certificate with no more than 1024 or 2048 bits (this is the max-size for most issuers) is not acceptable for us.

We require at least 4096 Bits or higher. If browser-manufactures would support 8192 or even 16k certs, we would've used those.

We want to keep all your informations from/to the site confidential.
We enforce Forward-Privacy/Secrecy ensuring that no ISP, Hacker or even Government could guess the content of your transmissions by having historical data of the streams.

We take this serious because in the end it's about your money!

We try to handle this topic in the most transparent manner.
Please confront us with any concerns, bug-reports or other security issues right away.

I have notified them, but will notify them again. Bitember seems to have not been active on bitcointalk for a while now.
