is this the first time this has been attempted?
Although this sounds so good, but it gives no incentive for anyone to hodl their coins. I am not saying the hodling is the only way to achieve success here. But early adopters, investors, traders, and miners. They do not stand to make much money here? am I wrong?

It's not a problem. Than more nicehash than bigger nethash than bigger block reward. So you don't lose your profit.

you should read bitgun specification (algoritm), more difficulty means more block reward. so nice hash not a problem

Seems interesting project.
I liked 3 kind of MN that you categorized as Light 1000 XDNA MN, Medium 3000 XDNA MN, 5000 XDNA MN
This will help every one to have Masternode.
I tried to mine with mine 7x1070 mining rig and it gave me only 0.2 XDNA for an hour. If the 5000 XDNA MN price is 1 BTC then this means 1 XDNA price is $1.2 and 0.2x24 hour= 4.8 XDNA coin. 4.8x1.2 = $5.76 daily.
So it is not profitable to mine now and also 85% is nicehash miners.

Plus, if the block reward goes up, that means more coins, which usually means a lower price at the market.

OMG, WWIT?  Huh Apparently I wasn't thinking.  Roll Eyes Just bored and needed a distraction from the bear market. Already spent way too much on Nicehash. Well, at least most of that goes into other miner's pocket less Nicehash fees.
