They can't force  us to pay taxes per year. There are no government holding with us. We are not doing illegal things that involve government. So why we need to pay taxes. Investing in this kind of bussiness is too risky and that's part of learning to be veteran is this kind of bussiness.

If the bitcoin will tax base so many people will believe in crypto especially bitcoin because they will paying taxes for security and legitimate transactions. so I agree if government will put taxes for bitcoin but If they put too much in it I will go along to those who fight for it to stop it.

I think paying taxes in holding bitcoin is unfair. Because they are holding they are not selling or buying. Taxes should go on the transaction not on holding
Even on the transaction, tax is a very unreasonable and unfair thing for all of us because the government is not involved in bitcoin, even many governments have resisted and advised people to stay away from bitcoin, why do we need to pay taxes when they are the ones who want to destroy our way of making money. They do not have any guarantees and assistance but when they mention, they ask us to pay taxes, that's so funny, they have no powers and they can not force us to pay taxes on bitcoin, so we can comfortably make money and ignore them

of course and that depends on the government that has allowed or not, because in my country bitcoin has not been permitted, so I have not been taxed by the government

Yes, our country initially prohibits bitcoin, but lately, the Government has given positive signals to trade cryptocurrency, so chances are they want to take taxes from bitcoin. because I know they are targeting taxes from bitcoin with fantastic value.

How will they even know you own Bitcoin? Bitcoin is only  pieces of  information on decentralized ledger. They'll have to break into people's homes to take the private keys and confisticate the Bitcoin ( Even private keys can be well hidden.). There is little they can do about people's  Bitcoin. Except you keep Bitcoin on centralized exchanges or wallets.

People normally get taxed when  Bitcoin is exchanged for fiat or something? Unless they find a humane way to tax holders, we won't surrender.

What will happen on BTC if the government will said that all the bitcoin holder have to pay their tax??
Maybe the expansion of BTC community will get low than usual.
As for me when the government asked for the tax in the bitcoin holders it will be possibke since when bitcoin or the cypto currencies will be the next for for the financial of the whoke world. It us possible that bitcoin holders will pay taxes also in form of digital money aside from thatvit is normal that all thing around this world that people worth around will have thier taxes .

If that is the case (if government really wanted to regulate cryptos), then all we have to do is to live with it and start moving on from what we are used to. It's really good to earn profit from cryptos tax free but i believe that there is also an advantage if we are going to pay tax because i feel like we are secured with our money being an investor.

The need to pay taxes is generally percieved negatively by people, no matter is this is related to bitcoin or not. In any case, I can see no way to control whether people DO pay their taxes in btc or not - their is no such a controlling infrastructure so far.

Well bitcoin is an investment which hold doesnt get taxed, we do pay taxed based on how much money we make and yes i believe the community will reduce significantly if that happen.

Definitely, they have to pay taxes to the government because while we are converting to fiat currency those amounts will be deposited in banks only. So governments will easily from where the money is crediting into your bank account. So it is always good to pay taxes to the government.

Crypto traders have to pay tax on their capital gains when they convert cryptocurrency into fiat currency. Seeking taxes from holders are not right way because their holdings have not used for trading purpose yet. Holding crypto and converting fiat is different way and we have to pay taxes when we covert crypto into fiat.

It will not be good if the holder pay taxes because it is currency and we are not paying taxes on fiat so that is not good to impose taxes on bitcoin and crypto i love to hold but i am not ready to pay taxes because i like it for profit motive and if profit is not then this will be purely using for transactions.

Now you pay in shops the tax on products and purchase of vegetables and bread didn't decrease. So why should bitcoin become less attractive? The question is anonymity.First of all, cryptocurrency as it assumes that one side does not know the other. And with the payment of taxes will have to be verified and to identify their identity. This can scare.

In my own opinion, the investors of cryptocurrency will decrease because there are more people who are going to hate their own government, since government just want to milk money from their own people.

countries do not yet get tax on their crypto money transactions. because taking taxes means accepting the crypto money world formally. when the states accept it, we will pay our tax, of course.

For me, if the government will said that all bitcoin holder will have to pay tax. It has a good and bad idea. Many people are paying taxes in manyitems you would brought. However, the government need to be aware in cryptocurrency before they rule it in many things. But it is not far if the government will implement it especially if we earn a big amount in cryptocurrency

I like it more, paying taxes is a good thing and can make the country better, if the country wants to get tax from bitcoin then the first thing to do is the state must legalize and accept bitcoin as an official commodity.

Buy bitcoin to pay taxes. I have not heard about this. And I think it will not be possible. Because bitcoin in Vietnam is not accepted by the government. We invest in every bitcoin we incur. I have been holding a bitcoin for a few years now.
