Depends on you actually but basing on the current movement of coins then i would consider it as a safe spot but always put in mind that it doesnt give any guarantee that it will give profits later on. Sometimes we do really hesitate to buy because it cant really be avoided the thing comes to mind that the price might go even more lower.Basing on technicals bitcoin can possible go ahead to below 5k price but still its just a presumption basing on those indicators if you can wait then its your choice but dont expect it would happen for sure.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to get some money into the market, but I would be cautious right now because this might lead into another dump in the near future. That's something I don't think anyone wants to get caught in, let alone buy into a bear market thinking it's going to shift into a bull market immediately afterwards. Some days, and in some markets, it's REALLY good to buy the dip. I'm just not that confident in it right now. But take my opinions with a grain of salt, because I don't know the market and I won't claim to know the market. I'm just saying that it doesn't look exceptionally good right now.

Probably. Although I won't mind waiting a tad more. Bithumb just got hacked and people are losing their shit. 

So the prices can go down further more, but if you want you can do short trades and make a few long term trades when the price falls. Sounds about right? It would take a month atleast for bitcoin to recover, considering how this year went so far.

The question is what altcoin you are going to buy?because this will depend on the potential of the alts youre investing with.but if you are referring to the top 10 coins then i guess its valid to buy now and just wait for some time to recover

bitcoin drop has been a small one compared to the dump of the altcoins. while bitcoin went down about 7-8%  the altcoins each lost 12-20% of their value in the past day.

in other words they are experiencing some severe dumping case and while the drops become bigger the panic sellers come out and start dumping their coins.

It's always risky to invest in this market, especially during such a sustained bear market but if I look at the marketcap it is at a similiar low and oversold as it was in february so statistically the chances are good to make a profit to go long now...but you never know as the sentiment is really bad right now...I would be very cauteous. It depends on your goals. If you are for short term, better do binary and go for short, because most coins could probably find support price and could go lower. I don't know if it is certain but it seems that Bitcoin is keep on going down and i wonder if altcoin could still be worth to buy but there's a tendency that almost altcoin prices will go down too. Too risky to gamble but yet we have to either to choose to hold or to risk it to sell, either way it really depends on the outcome of our choices.

Better wait for the time when the market is somehow showing bullish signs because you may just catch falling knives when you buy now. You want to buy the low but every time you buy it, it goes deeper so better wait for the time when the bears are already exhausted so that even if you weren't able to buy with the lowest price, you still have a chance to be profitable as long as the price is in upward trend already. Trend is your friend is what they say so it is not really advisable to hope for a reverse in price when it is downtrend unless you know how to play it.

Actually, it is hard to tell the movement of Crypto currencies anymore specially Bitcoin in which it is very unpredictable now and lot of unexpected  event will also become a problem like the MT.Gox selling and Coinrail hacking event. I suggest to wait for a few weeks before you jump into conclusion because i have the feeling that it will go dipper as some people are afraid to join the investment anymore making for the real demand for crypto will not increase.

It looks like mtgox problem has already gotten another delay and we can see that how kobayashi as mtgox trustee has announced about the new agreement between him and the creditors.
