This is pretty exciting. I am excited to be involved with a new coin, can't wait to see how it works!
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

be careful scam coin Same dev team scamberk and worldcoin

I was never a dev and was never scharmbeck. Please stop spreading this, I am more than open to clear it up as much as possible but I was simply head of marketing for Worldcoin. I was never any part of scharmbeck nor had anything to do with what came of it. If you would like to converse more about this I am open to a pm. I was just as much in the dark of anything going on at Scharmbeck as anyone else during the whole time.

+1

This guy is good people.

Is it possible to mine with GPU at start with low difficulty, or are the asics going to run over immediately?

It's hard to say but generally speaking I imagine there's will be a lot of "little" fish in this sea and slightly less whales. Good luck with your mining later today.

Why would you make this a SHA256 coin... makes me a sad panda.

EDIT: Nevertheless it seems like a very nice coin. Will probably try to solo mine a bit tonight!

There are 1000    new scrypt coins here.

New SHA coins are exactly for  old generation, who can eqarn some coins at the beginning, while difficulty is low;)

This is the reason we chose SHA. We figure that scrypt is a little over-saturated right now and no one has released a great new SHA coin in a while.

So, it may sound silly, but can or can't I CPU mine it? And if I can... is it worth it?

You can, and for the beginning, it very well may be worth it.  they've kept the block rewards low at the beginning to prevent temptation of those with massive power from coming in and instamining the hell out of the coin.

Thanks, I will try. But if I get hurt like I did with MaxCoin fiasko launch, I'll never trust another coin again Smiley

That's a terrible coin on which to base your judgement...for being promoted by professionals, it was easily one of the worst & least professional launches I've seen in my (limited) time here.

Indeed. I will be sad if it takes of and not because I failed at mining any of it, but because it's not fair (ironically, with such "fair" launch) for other altcoin dev and owners, who are working hard and efficiently.

Another silly noobish question, can I use the "common" minerd? Or should I wait for launch to get a customized one? Would like to setup what I can before hand.
